Hi Jason, quick question: at this point, has Analytics 4 fully caught up with Universal Analytics as far as data? I'm specifically referring to your "that's why we need both" conversation at around 17:00. Thanks!

Nope, not even close. You still need both, particularly if you are using UTM parameters.

Great video Jason! Question. At time stamp 13:10 where you talk about GA tracking 118 users of 300, how can we increase the number of users GA actually tracks? I'm looking at mine now (thanks to your video!) and I have 277 users of 4000! So only ~7% actually tracked. Thanks a ton

Glad you think so! Wow, that's even worse than this site example. Unfortunately there isn't anything we can do to get more information. These audiences are created by Google and so it requires that the visitor to have been previously tracked/tagged another site/platform.... Sorry there isn't a solution on this one

Do i still need both GA4 & universal on my site, its Feb 2022. I only have GA4 but cant see any conversions listed.

YES! You still need both on your site to get all the data that you need.

They are two separate solutions. You have to install GA4 and just use it. The old version will be phased out in the future
