Does it work on iPhone 8? I do see Live view on my phone but it's telling me to TILT my phone to see the live view but when I tilt it doesn't show. Any tips would be helpful.

Just turn on your phone's location setting after launching the Google maps app then click on the blue dot in the bottom right corner , next click on the walking directions tab at the top then type in your location and destination and then finally you'll see the Live view/Ar tab at the bottom next to the start tab.
