We know this given the fact that both the Pixel3 and Pixel3XL have the same functionality, can shoot the same pictures, and deliver the SAME performance. The Pixel appeals to men it because of the design, the design is fine to me, but because of the clean, simple, stock android that integrates seamlessly with google products. Also, the camera might be the most important feature to me on a smartphone, and the Pixel wins there. Not saying the other phone are bad, they’re not, just saying that in my opinion, the Pixel is probably better for me because of the superior software integration and camera.

Nice video. I liked the side by side comparison of size and that you addressed the the subtle size difference from last year's models. People love to comment on the design here (!) ... I will just say that I'm sure the notch is much less intrusive or garish in person (something you could consider mentioning in a future Pixel 3 review) and the cues the hardware takes from the recent Material Design evolution brings a nice consistent design charm between software and hardware. I'd go with the smaller Pixel 3 because one handed use is important to me.

Despite the notch, I prefer the 3 XL. I’ll be moving from an iPhone 6S Plus and I love the size. I like having a home button and I don’t like the expensive price of the new iPhone XS Max. So, I’ll be watching the reviews and probably choose between the Note 9 and the Pixel 3XL. Their prices are much more to my liking and having had an iPhone for several years, I like the timely software updates that Google offers for the Pixel 3 XL.

I'm hoping to get the 3xl 128g here in a couple weeks. I love my pixel but it's old and outdated now. Definitely time for an upgrade and so far for the last two years I've loved my Google experience. No reason for me to switch. My only complaint was storage. I got the smaller storage cause I didn't think my apps would take as much space as they did. Something I never realized with expandable storage cause I have huge sd cards (which don't work with the pixel obviously) so I'll definitely be going for the larger storage this time around.

That notch doesn't seem as bothersome to me as most people are making it out to be. Besides losing a tiny bit of real estate, what's wrong with that notch? I'm not being sarcastic, I'm actually in the market for one of these as I'm tired of Samsung competing with Goog products and updates taking forever to roll out so Samsung can get their redundant software working along with all the google apps. I'm very much in the Google eco-system and want to stick with android for that reason. The new iPhones look great, but integrating it with all my google accounts/calendars/contacts etc seems daunting and I don't like the closed system. Though I do like Apples security a lot better. This is a tough call.

As a Note8 user the presentation sold me on the camera.. if I did switch, it's the anything I'd be missing from Samsung? I think it's funny that people lose their minds of 90 mAh. even if everything remained the same, 90 mAh means almost nothing. we're talking a few less minutes of battery life. the efficiency gains of the 845 and android pie in general should more than make up for that. on the other hand, the pixel 3 should actually outlast the 3XL because of its smaller, lower resolution screen.

I got the smaller version and despite the fact it is very tiny at first sight it is suprisingly very ergonomic and appealing. I heard a lot of complaints about the gestures too and well it just works overall. Small issues will be fixed rapidly over the next weeks or months so not a big deal. The screen is just magnificent as well. But I do understand that it sounds expensive for what it is. Just the Google way I guess.
