For power button to function, you need to program Power button on MX3 through air learning function.

yep. press and hold the tv button on bottom air mouse, light flashes fast. when it goes constant point TV remote at air mouse and press ON button to teach the air mouse. then press which button you want to use on air mouse-top power, or 4 bottom colours can learn. once chosen, press that bottom tv button again. Done. Learned. Test by switching on TV!

Dear Tech Singh, all looks good in your video and is useful. But please be known that the remote is NOT A BLUETOOTH remote. It's an RF direction-less remote - meaning that it is a radio frequency signal which can be operated without pointing towards the TV. It is a different technology than a bluetooth. But of-course I agree that if you use the air-mouse, you have to point it towards the TV. And one more thing, it did't work on the Netflix App and Hotstar App on my Sony KD65A8H OLED TV. I returned it. My brand of Remote was AUSHA. Will the one suggested by you work on these Apps?

I have exactly the same remote, except for microphone there is no difference, in its place browser short cut button is given. The one shown in the video must be a newer version. The bottom four colored buttons (Red, Green, Yellow & Blue) are IR capable and programmable. Those four can be paired with Mi Remote Power button and OK button and can be used for Powering ON & Powering OFF MiTV. In my case, my TV is MiTV 4A 43 inch. I have paired them with Mi remote as follows: Red - > Power ON or OFF Green - > OK button Yellow - > Volume up Blue - > Volume down Have configured the remote this way since I am using the remote wifi based dongle functionality on Android TV Box (A95X MAX) and not on MiTV. The programmed button are only to control MiTV Power ON or OFF and Volume while I am using A95X Max Android Smart TV Box. If used in MiTV only by plugging in dongle in MiTV, no need to configure for Volume button, since the remote inbuilt volume control button will work out of box. So, this remote can control the Power button of MiTV. PS: The "TV" button at the second row from button is specifically for pairing or programming the bottom row colored button. It has no any other function.

Nice, but you have said that you can't switch ON the TV, actually the last 4 coloured dummy buttons are for that purpose,we can program those buttons to act as normal infrared remote.
