Hi Joe, thank you for you valuable input; I didn't find anything close and to the point like your intervention; This really helps out! I'm about to migrate my wife and kids email's to something cheaper; A last question remain, if you remove the Google Workspace subscription, do you get to keep the calendar functionality? Thank you, Br,

My problem is that, for security and privacy reasons, I have about 6 emails that I use for different websites/services subscriptions, I have one for my android photos backup, an other for streaming services, an other for games (steam/epic/origin), banking and so on, besides my main social email. So, even if I keep those as identity only, I still have to create new email accounts in order to have an actual inbox to forward to, and keep all of them signed in simultaneously in my phone, the new ones so I see email notifications and the old identity only ones so I can login services. So now, when I try to login a service in my phone, it will open up a list of almost 20 emails to chose from AND I won't be able to do that in the PC because chrome only allows for 10 simultaneous logins.

I have 3 emails and also 4 domain alias added. So Will I be paying for 3 accounts now?

As far as I can tell. You pay per workspace subscription (license). Look at your user list and count the number that have workspace licenses. Looking the two day invoice I just got, I see that I have 6 accounts with 5 workspace licenses. The invoice was for the 5 workspace licenses.

It looks like you have to turn off Automatic Licensing in order to remove a workspace license for an individual user: Billing / License Settings and hover over the Automatic Licensing to see the Edit pencil icon.

Yes you are correct. I made that change and forgot to call it out. It is located at admin.google.com/ac/billing/licensesettings

thanks man, this was very insightful, i am also affected by this google move, i would like to move my emails to some email hosting service right now i have them with google email (gmail) do you know how to do this? maybe you could do a tutorial or something? it would be good also, which other service is reliable enough? I wonder how you could do this to move to microsoft 365 family, i know it's doable but i don't know how.
