​ @itGenius_ With all due respect, it might be helpful to explain why it doesn't work or new Workspace users. I also didn't have the option for "License Settings" under "Billing" when I attempted to do this. The difference is, you already had Cloud Identity activated, but License Settings doesn't show unless you already have this turned on. To assign the Google Cloud Identity licenses, we first need to subscribe to it. Here's how for anyone else having this issue (all new accounts) 1) Billing, 2) Get More Services, 3) Then click on Cloud Identity on the left-hand side and Get Started with Cloud Identity free. 4) Click the blue "Next" button, 5) Click Checkout, 6) Click Place Order (Free of course), 7) Click Review License Settings. Once this has been done, the "License Settings" will always show under "Billing". My guess is, you had already done that previously, so your video doesn't mention it until after you changed the settings, but anyone signing up for a new Google Workspace account will need to do these steps before they can follow along with your tutorial. Otherwise, your video is good, but "Yep you can" was certainly not a helpful response to this person's query. Maybe Google changed the order of this since your video, but I think it's always been in this order. You have to subscribe to Cloud Identity before you will be able to access "License Settings" to turn off the automatic license. I hope that helps.

thanks for all the great info! can I ask I create a new google calender with business domain/email, verified the domain but now I cant access Google calenders now and it asking me to subscriber - it is possible to create a work calender with work email for free?

No, if you want a calendar connected to a business domain name you’ll have to subscribe to workspace

You can remove the workspace subscription from users and maintain cloud identity 👍🏼

It looks like you can't turn automatic licensing back on without your new cloud identity license consuming a license. But other than that it all works great
