Do you know that he is a survivor in Sendai earth quake in 9 richters and tsunami ! He was in the ice rink and practices when it happened. Entire town and ice rink been destroyed! Well at 1.01 - 1.04 there is the japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu. I'm not sure if you know but he is two time Olympic Champion and two time World Champion. But if we are talking about the reason why we all here are blaming ISU (International Skating Union) the thing is that during last few competitions there was like really unfair judging. During World Championship 2019 and Grand Prix Final 2019 Yuzuru sure made some mistakes that cost him gold but still the audience and fans have eyes to notice the huge gap in points between Yuzuru and american skater Nathan Chen that just doesn't make any sense. And of course this artificial difference in points angered the fans. Yuzuru is known as a very artistic skater (if not the best) so the fact that Nathan got higher points in this aspect (program components score) is just unexplainable. The same with GOE (grade of execution). Each element has its own base value. But a panel of twelve judges then each award a mark for the quality and execution of the element. This mark, called the grade of execution (GOE), is an integer with a minimum value of -5 and a maximum value of +5. So Yuzuru made some perfect quad jumps and spins here but the judges were very strict to him. Especially if we compere his score to Nathan's. Some judges awarded Yuzuru's jumps with only +1 even though they were fully rotated and the landings were beautiful and right. I personally have nothing against Nathan. He is a very talented, technically strong and ineresting skater to watch but some things just couldn't be. In this situation of course fans think that ISU robbed Yuzuru (again I'm not talking about the gold medals but about the scores) and judges are trying to help the American Figure Skating Federation. I hope my explanation makes sense. If not I'm sorry and you will have to do some research youself ;)

@@nairocamilo Where to begin :D Yuzuru started skating at 4 following in his older sister's footsteps. He showed great promise and potential throughout his career as a junior, culminating in winning the 2010 Junior World Championship. In 2011 he was living in the area that was hit by the East Japan earthquake and tsunami; ever since then, he is always giving back to the people affected, both as donations and through his skating, being an inspiration and sort of a symbol of not giving up. Throughout his senior career he's had quite a few injuries - about one ankle injury per season on average, plus his asthma affecting his stamina (but he's been training to overcome this, and it's much better now than in his early years when he was quite out of breath at the end of his programs). However, he fought through them and won a lot of medals, including gold at the 2014 and then the 2018 Olympics - the latter as an unexpected comeback from injury, it was quite a story at the time. He has done a lot for figure skating as a sport: he's raised the bar technically by challenging more and more difficult jumps, and he's been setting an example of blending athleticism with artistry, not compromising one for the other. He's very thorough in polishing every move in his figure skating programs to perfection, so they're always amazing to watch. Both on and off the ice, he's very compelling to watch, very focused when performing or practising, and an otherwise cheerful and endearing personality. He's insanely well-spoken in Japanese interviews (and working on his English too.. he's getting there!)

Mutta riski on suuri että hän silloin jo on poissa koska ISU tekee tosissaan ylitöitä saadakseen potkaistua hänet ulos. Jos Yuzu ei ole siellä, ei myöskään ole paljon yleisöä. ISU on täysin säälimätön järjestö ja heidän haudat on täynnä vääryyden ja lahjonnan voimalla ulos potkaistuja hyviä luistelijoita. He's a huge idol in the sport of figure skating and is a worldwide phenomenon. You should try watching some of his programs, they're fantastic, he really flies when he jumps, so I see no surprise as to why Google said he was a superhero who could fly!
