The most beautiful song ever written for a movie. One of my favorite songs of the Goo Goo Dolls. I love all their songs, but Iris on top of my list. Johnny Rzeznik is one of my favorite songwriters. He is a very brilliant, talented songwriter. The music video for Iris is amazingly beautiful. I could not only listen to Iris, but also watch the music video for Iris all day. That is how much I really love this song.

In the commentary video of Before It's Too Late, John says that having to write a song for a movie eases the inspiration. It's really not surprising to hear him say that, considering a lot of the songs he has written for movies are among his best (Iris, the two from Treasure Planet, All That You Are).
