I'm glad you told us not to read the back of the book, I'll be getting my copy tomorrow and don't want spoilers lol. I love stories about mummies or ancient Egypt so this book sounds like a lot of fun. I just read The Mummy Walks and although I really liked it, the one thing I hated was that the Mummy was pretty much nonexistent lol. I heard the Mummy book from the Horroland series is pretty good.

Yes! I just read The Mummy Walks too and it was so much fun but so different I thought from other Goosebumps books! I ordered the Horrorland book and I'm waiting for it to come in so I can read it! The Slappyworld The Dummy Meets the Mummy book was really good too!

I AM planning a mummy ranking!! You should do one! I'd be so curious to see where you would place them all. I read The Dummy Meets the Mummy, and that threw off my ranking list I was building. Now I'm not sure where I want to put some of them!

Yes! I thought this one was one of the best mummy books out of any of the Goosebumps mummy books! Close runner up though: The Dummy vs. The Mummy book!

just finished this book last night and thouroughly enjoyed it. So far the endings in House of Shivers have been meh, but the ending in this one was fine, i wanted more, but i'm just happy we didn't get another Goblin Monday twist.

Yes! This one was my favorite of the House of Shivers books for sure. I think it went over a lot better. Lol Stine finally figured out something interesting to do with mummies in this one!!
