I watched an interview with him that was really sad as he talked about how serious he takes his impressions and how hard he is on himself after struggling with depression and cutting himself while he was a cast member, and then how he came in and was told he was being replaced as Trump by Baldwin and how he felt betrayed in a way. I can’t imagine him watching Baldwin almost mocking Trump instead of an actual impression like Hammond did. Very sad how he was treated

Lorne replaced him because he was doing a accurate impersonation of Trump, he didn't want that. What he wanted was someone to be the liberal's idea of Trump for propaganda reasons / to try and influence how people would vote, that meant that the impersonation had to be extremely negative all the time and make Trump look as bad as possible and Baldwin fit the bill. SNL became Democratic propaganda once it was established that Hillary was the Dem nominee and Trump was the GOP nominee, so they made Hillary look extremely good in comparison to Trump as a rule from that point forward. One skit even showed Hillary having a party saying she won the election already, that was the skit they made about the "grab em" tape that leaked a few days before.

I think Baldwin does a much better job. Baldwin looks more like Trump and sounds more like him but in a kind of overemphasized exaggerated way. Which, if you look at the history of impressionists, is what they tend to do. Take Rich Little for instance and all the famous people he impersonated. He's pretty much spot on but just in an overexaggerated way.

Rand Paul, like his father, always speaks reason and doesn't just try to flex his muscles when it comes to foreign policy up there. It's a shame that Trump and Cruz are ahead as Rand is the only one I'd consider voting for. I think he'd get a lot of the independent votes.

Jon Snow I wouldn't say that as this country is extremely divided. The election is a long way away and a lot can happen between now and then (debates, scandals, terrorist attacks, possible Independent runs). If Isis attacks again on American soil, I'm guessing fear would win over and any Republican candidate is likely to win the general election.

I'm very liberal but if the election came down to Hillary and Rand Paul I think he's the obvious choice. If it came down to Bernie and Paul I'd actually feel safe knowing that whatever happens our country will be in far better hands than Trump/Clinton

+Miles Finnch Paul is a hack, he's the only 1 proposing that the poorest of the poor should pay federal taxes when they can barely afford to pay for food, rent, & already pay local/sales taxes. Trump, on the other hand, is compassionate & sensible enough to exempt the poor from fed taxes, the only 1 willing & able to renegotiate our horrible trade deals & our deals for defending ally countries (so that they'll pay us for defending them), & the only 1 who's not bought & paid for the way Rand & the rest are. He's a giant & Rand is rightfully an afterthought
