GoPro HD Skiing at its best!

having a good time skiing in kappl/ischgl/tignes

- most of this was filmed in r3 settings (720p @60fps)
- the camera is the original GoPro Hero HD camera (not the second generation)
- how to get your material steady? well, hold your head as still as possible and dont use the strap mounts. use the sticking plates so there is much less movement.
- the pole we used is a "cullmann" pole. or just google it, there are millions around the internet ;-)
- like in the first sentence, this was in kappl/ischgl/tignes which are located in austria and france.

This video is more about how much fun skiing is and partying afterwards and hanging out in a lodge, etc. , especially with good friends. I absolutely loved it and it always inspires me to get a big group of friends together, rent a cabin, and hit the slopes with our gopro cameras.

Ich gucke das Video jetzt bestimmt schon zum 10. Mal. ich weiß nicht wieso, aber es ist eines meiner Lieblingsvideos. Man muss sagen dass hier nicht die high-end Kameras und die besten Skifahrer sind. Aber genau DAS macht es so schön! Ich denke jedes Mal an die ganzen Skiurlaube die Ich gemacht habe. Das Video spiegelt das ganze Gefühl sehr gut wieder. PS: Das erste Mal, als ich das Video sah, hatte es 25.000 Klicks. (Es scheinen noch mehr Leute das gleiche Gefühl zu haben wie ich :) )

(this is carrrying on from my reply) This information is from a 'Gopro HD HERO', i am not sure if the other models are the same, but on the Gopro hd hero these resolutions are shown on the back casing. Different resolutions and frame rates are suited to different activities such as skiing, mountain biking, motocross etc and allow you to get the best picture possible. Hope this helped!!!
