(this is carrrying on from my reply) This information is from a 'Gopro HD HERO', i am not sure if the other models are the same, but on the Gopro hd hero these resolutions are shown on the back casing. Different resolutions and frame rates are suited to different activities such as skiing, mountain biking, motocross etc and allow you to get the best picture possible. Hope this helped!!!

I'm skiing Vail Colorado a week later & then going to Aspen to finish it off. Then I finish off the season skiing at Killington & Sugarloaf Mountain. I'll also go to Hunter Mountain with my wife & daughter as well. I love skiing :) Excellent footage by the way guys!!

Ich gucke das Video jetzt bestimmt schon zum 10. Mal. ich weiß nicht wieso, aber es ist eines meiner Lieblingsvideos. Man muss sagen dass hier nicht die high-end Kameras und die besten Skifahrer sind. Aber genau DAS macht es so schön! Ich denke jedes Mal an die ganzen Skiurlaube die Ich gemacht habe. Das Video spiegelt das ganze Gefühl sehr gut wieder. PS: Das erste Mal, als ich das Video sah, hatte es 25.000 Klicks. (Es scheinen noch mehr Leute das gleiche Gefühl zu haben wie ich :) )

@justin52667 its the hd hero with the helmet hero kit and some other additional mounts aswell.. the 960p hero wont shoot full hd videos (some in the vid are full hd) and it wont shoot at 720p with 60fps which is crucial for slow motion shots unless you are able to use plugins like twixtor..

A GoPro has different resolution settings and are shown on screen as ' r1, r2, r3, r4 and r5', these refer to the resolution settings. r1 (resolution 1) shoots in WVGA resolution at 60 fps, r2 shoots in 720p resolution at 30fps, r3 shoots in 720p resolution at 60fps, r4 shoots in 950p resolution at 30fps and r5 shoots at 1080p resolution at 30fps.

(got to crop the image to 16:9 if youre not already filming in the 720p resolution) shakieness: since the camera is very lightweight it will shake alot... try to hold it as still as possible at any time. but its not any difference to the hd hero in terms of "shakieness"

Franchement génial, pour une fois qu'on nous montre pas une video avec seulement des figures sur lesquelles on est sensés s'extasier tellement elles sont dures a réaliser mais juste un ptit délire entre potes. Franchement très sympa mais dommage qu'il y est pas plus de temps de video sur le ski; si vous en refaites une mettez une séquence gamelle c'est toujours sympa à voir ;)

I've been to Ischgl 3 times (could be 4, not sure) and I LOVE it! The Silverettabahn, Pardatschgratbahn and Fimbabahn up from the village, heading to Idalp, working our way up to the Tridalp platou ;) SOOO beautiful! Some wicked clips here as well, nice shooting/editing! What program do you use? And have you tried chestmount? Btw, that time lapse sequence = seriously awesomness ;)
