I had the same problem few weeks ago and I contact GoPro and they send me the FEDEX stamp to send them my GoPro via email then I print the stamp and I send by FEDEX my GoPro and they replace my GoPro for a new one, the only thing you need is a copy or the receive to prove you buy or the credit card transaction etc take like 2 weeks to get back a new GoPro so easy.

Same issue. Contacted gopro service and they denied replacing, as it has been over a year since I bough it. Poor poor warranty. And camera failed without any reasons.

Sorry to hear about your situation. My issues were there the first day I opened the package. It probably has a problem in the manufacturing process. If your gopro started to have these problems after a year, Gopro can easily blame it on the user. Anyways your warranty period is over. RIP another gopro.

Hello sir, that are the requirements they asked you for the replacement? Cause my situation is, i bought my GoPro Hero4 BE on Amazon, in the US. But now, i'm here in my country, is it possible that they could replace my unit? We have same issue though. And it's really frustrating. Do they need the receipt from Amazon? Do they need the box? Thanks in advance.

Hello Mr. Gico, As I understand, you bought it while you were in the USA. I believe they will help you even if you are not in the USA anymore. Call GoPro customer service. You can find the phone numbers from here: gopro.com/support/telephone-numbers Explain the problems you are having and try to do what they are asking from you to fix the issue. If non of their suggestions work, they will tell you that they need to replace the camera. They will ask for your e-mail address and the rest of the procedure will continue through e-mails. You will need to send your camera to one of their return stores which are located in USA (Americas), Netherlands (Europe) and Singapore (APAC) Don't hesitate to ask any questions. I hope it will all work out fine for you

Benim Cihaımdada donma problemi vardı. Cihaz açıldığında donuyordu direk. Çözümü ise önce komple dağıttım cihazı anakartı ısı tabancası ile hafif ısıttım ve oda sıcaklığında sogumaya bıraktım ve ardından cihazı gerisin geri topladım ardından frimware update ile v4.0 a çevirdim bu şekilde sorunsuz kullanıyorum. imkanı olan varsa direk garantiye göndersin zaten yenisini veriyorlar. benim cihazım garantisiz idi
