Completely unusable! This huge brick around 90% of the recordings do not have audio recorded. I guess the reason is the weak usb connection with the short cable and the weight of this device. @Gopro - you should take this part out of sortiment if you want to be selling only high quality products. 65€ are laying in my garage for month and I don't have the courage to sell to someone else.

Hi. Thankyou for the review. Im new to Gopro, but have got myself a gopro hero 5 along with a Feiyu G5 gimbal. Unfortunately, theres audio issues with the build in mic when using with a gimbal. But since this gopro audio adapter is relatively big/heavy, it would definitely affect the gimbal's motors, so I was hoping to attach the audio adapter to the gimbal handle itself, but this would require the adapter to be connected to the gopro for an extension cable. Do you know if the adapter still works if it was connected via some sort of usb-c extension cable to the gopro? Many thanks
