Wait, it can handle higher than 64g? Yay!.. but 64g is actually decent. Bought your books, by the way. Both the Hero6 and Karma Drone but I do enjoy watching vids more. :) I'm completely new to GoPro. This is my first set up and just received my Karma Drone and Hero6 bundle today. I believe that the increased frame rate actually enhances the video, but takes up more of your memory card. The lower the frame rate, the more the quality "suffers", but you'll be able to fit more video on the card. I think it's moot though unless you're capturing fast action or underwater video when the higher frame rate benefits the video quality. I could be wrong but I think that's how it works.

Bought your book on GoPro 6. It includes this statement: To activate Voice Control, Pull Down the top tray on the Touch Display Screen. Tap the Voice Control Icon at the top right to remove the “x”. Can't find the "top tray" and can't find it in your book. Where is it?

Some of the cameras come with a 32GB card, which is good to get started, but I suggest upgrading to a 128GB (or at least 64GB).

When you are recording can you pause it while recording it and play it later with the same video.

No, once you stop recording, the video stops and a new video will be created the next time you record. However, it's very easy to bring two videos together when you edit.

Nice precise video Jordan. I own a Hero 6 and have just purchased a falcon plus gimbal to improve my footage. I can't get the falcon plus to turn on my GoPro but it does connect and work via the handle. Do you have any tips for getting this to work? I have followed the instructions to the letter and can't seem to find any YT videos on this camera, they are all for GoPro10 + Thanks in advance.

I bought a second hand one. When I plug in the charger there is a red light that flashes for one second, but doesn't keep flashing. And the front display is on with a charging symbol so I guess it's charging. I also saw that the battery symbol has one bar.

It's normal for the camera to get hot while recording, so you should be fine as long as it continues to record.

Yes, you can. Quik for Desktop helps you keep your GoPro files organized, but if you already have a system that works for you, go for it!
