Yea I’m a little bit of a new rider I just started about 8 months ago and when they do that they are actually just doing it to listen to the rider better but it’s extremely adorable ❤️

Yes. It’s a listening aid, 2 ears pinned back tightly means pain or pissy. 1 eat back or eat flick means, “hmm?” And ears forward relaxed means content. Ears focused on something means, “ohhh, what’s that?” And that you have lost their attention.

The GoPro of Riot and Lee show the WB/TB dilemma. The round movement and jump of the WB give great dressage scores and clear SJ rounds, but the resultant hang time causes slower XC rounds and takes a lot out of the horse. But the flatter, but more efficient jump of the TBs gives great XC results but frequently causes rails in SJ. What to do?

Study winners and the history of the major events to illustrate how generalisations like that are utterly invalid and that you are, tbh just full of trite amateur nonsense and keep training horses that have talent vs obsessing re type I imagine. .

So Riot is 60% tb. I was 2nd fastest in both divisions with them. I took the long route on Lee and I had a 5sec whoopsie on Riot when I almost went off course. Riot recovered twice as fast as Lee. Mind you Lees course was longer.
