Lots of snow, needs to be gone! But can winter please wait till later November? Camera gear is always changing and on the farm you must come up with ways to handle the destructive environment.

If you get a deeper snow this year, you should drive the combines in the snow to really show the differences in how the LSW 1400 tires float vs the duals!

Hope you getting moisture and the snow is worth while. In The Panhandle we got our first moisture since First of July. We got 2" on our North section to 6.5" on the south section. This will help fill our soil profile for next summer crops. We might have a climate change as Friday we are getting our first freeze, a week or two early. We have to harvest corn and cotton and plant winter wheat...so please wait until Christmas here.

We are expecting our first snow tomorrow in Denver. News is saying 2-4 inches so where I am it's usually doubled. I honestly don't mind the snow, I just hate driving in it because there are a lot of people who move here that have no clue how to drive in snow. October isn't early for snow for us. We can get snow in August through June. It's just something you get used to.

Montana and is absolutely beautiful during the winter months!! I miss the snow country so bad!! Seeing the white blanket of snow all over the farm, makes me want to go back home to Montana! When I was a kid, the county couldn't get to our road, so my dad would go out on his Oliver 88, and our neighbor would get out his Deere 4320, and they would plow the roads and driveways. Thanks for the reminder!!

I used to push a lot of snow with a skidsteer for the garden store I worked for back in the day. Open cab, and a 1/2 yard bucket. Took forever, especially factoring in the stops to warm my hands and gloves in the loader exhaust. Then I moved to a different garden store that had a full cab loader with heated seats, and an actual snow plow for it. I can't stress enough how much an actual snow plow helps speed up clearing. Make one pass down the parking lot, then turn around and go right back up. One pass each way. With a bucket I always had to do multiple passes over the same area to get all the snow. Ya'll should see if you can find one. totally worth it.

I love the GoPros for camera stuff but have always had a hard time finding a efficient way of mounting them to everything without carrying around a hole bunch of mounts so thank you for that will probably build something similar in the near future

Got that whipped out skid loader bucket you could have Legarms reengineer it to make a snow pusher. It would be easy and he would love the project. Hack off the front, add width with big sides and a rubber scraper.

Get a high tip bucket/tipper bucket for your loader if you have aux hook ups on your loader anyway I promise you will not regret it

the right tool for the right job to handle the snow that's for the remainder need to make sure the heaters are working when we start handling snow remover here we recycle the water from the snow for dig-outs for cattle water hopeful the full year it's hard on the wells on each farm we usually have to buy more water in the summer the dig-out is low going in to the fall this year was very wet year still had to full up dig-outs

Another good thing about photography: When you've seen a dead human being who has been crushed by a hydraulic equipment failure this generally stimulates others to actually USE hydraulic lock-ups to prevent our own gruesome deaths. Thanks for using the locks!

I have a similar magnet setup but not as metallic and fancy. My GoPro was a knock off affair with loads of extra bundled extensions so I got a magnet used for taxi roof signs and used two adaptors at right angles to give me left right and tilt adjustment. Not quite as strong but it's probably far easier to fold down and pocket. Might get that handle tho

Definitely look into a powered quick attach conversion kit! I did my 7775 a year ago, no more standing on my head changing attachments! Don't even need to open the door so the heat stays in!
