I don’t find swimming with Orcas comforting at all lol, I know they don’t have killed any human in the wild, but still: they are the most powerful predators on the planet, and I don’t wanna be the first recorded dead. As a diver. I was once diving with whale sharks in the Maldives. They were the biggest thing I’ve ever see! I was scared, without a doubt. Mostly because of her fins. Whales fines could weigh over 2 tons, one smack from them and your either dead or extremely injured. It’s the equivalent of you as a fly and a human as the whale a shark. It waves it arms and it’ll kill the fly. It gives me the fight. But I was shocked to see 6 whale sharks all together. It was extraordinary. But also frightening. I couldn’t imagine being in your place and seeing the largest creature known to man swim by so innocently yet so menacingly. It has no intention to kill you or hurt you. But it can. A lot. It doesn’t realise how amazing and rare it is.
