Welcome to the Rocky Mountains' century-old public highway, Pikes Peak. This treacherous 12.7 mile stretch is loaded with 156 blind turns + climbs to an astonishing 14,115ft of elevation. It's home to records from legends from the likes of Ken Block, Romain Dumas + countless others. It's basically a GT2 RS Clubsport with different body work. The GT2 CS is pretty close to stock as is so this engine definitely has some breathing room in it for more power.

Drove up to pikes peak today and omg I was so scared - watching the video it just made me scared for the driver as alot of places there isn’t any railings. Stay safe - so glad I got to experience - so beautiful !

Your not wrong about being scared. I drove up there last Thursday and we almost couldn’t go all the way to the top because of a storm that had just passed. We got lucky and they opened it up as she was explaining the rules to us. I couldn’t even drive up going at 20mph and look down at same time. Respect to anyone that races up this road.

Drove up once and most terrifying ride ever. And we were only going under 20 mph. Vertigo on the hair pins with no visual reference just a thousand foot drop-off. Beautiful but very scary. Very good drivers that can compete in this race.

it's the ecu not the gearbox. it's a safety so the motor doesn't overrev. he isn't going slow enough to safely use 1st gear without overrevving the motor. so the ecu won't go into first gear until it knows the motor won't overrev with the current speed no matter how many times he clicks it

Hoping that was a very early practice run? Tons of time left out there just being in the wrong gear exiting corners. Suspension needs to be softened up too, those resurfaced areas are going to spit someone off the mountain. The car sounds amazing though.
