Happy Full ep friday all.
Here's a full episode of a classic moment where not only Gordon calls out owners for using a week-old lasagna and calling it fresh, but also tricking the owners into eating food he pretended to cook.

As a native New Orleanian and former server, I hate how so many people saw Hurricane Katrina as an opportunity to buy their way into New Orleans culture. It was kinda predatory how so many new restaurants popped up or out of town owners purchased existing restaurants. With all of the documentaries about Hurricane Katrina, hopefully someday we’ll get one that focuses on how Hurricane Katrina ushered in one of the most historic gentrifications of the 21st Century.

There are many people who believe the only way to make money is with an "angle", some way to trick the person into paying more than the actual value of the thing they are buying. I love how Gordon and Jason exchanged glances and just slightly smiled to each other. And it shows again how Gordon knows whats up. He knows when someone can cook and gave them the chance to blow the minds of the owners. Love this man! Glad that Jason and Emil could show what they really can and maybe it helped them find a place where they can really be treated better and get payed for what they are worth!

He is a professional. And it shows. I love it when the educated.... When their talents truly shine. They just know this and that ans it does not take them long to figure things out etc it pays to have expert advice!

It’s so sad that the whole staffing team are so young and probably quite impressionable and vulnerable and the owners are older, mature and are gaslighting and treating these young adults like shit and underpaying them so horrifically :( So sad

lil correction, I'm not sure the word gaslighting exactly applies here. It's manipulation, absolutely, but gaslighting is a specific form of manipulation. What they're doing is absolutely the sleeziest shit I've seen in a while, however

@@whatisthis1958oh no the completely gaslit those employees. 100%. Those employees tried to speak up and are shut down and talked to like dirt. It's the first time I felt heartbroken for the staff. They didn't only have to lose so much to Hurricane Katrina in one of the worst-hit areas, they also had to see their career go down the toilet. The previous owner died, their workplace became a dump, and their resumes were destroyed by the new shit quality of a place Zeke became. It's been closed so they had to go look for jobs elsewhere probably after it was already too late. I wish they left a lot sooner.
