Gordon is usually great with adults as well. Look at how he interacts with restaurant staff in Kitchen Nightmares and the chefs in Hell's Kitchen outside of dinner service. He's a great guy. He's just very intense during service because he cares about customers and standards. It's his reputation on the line, after all.

well in kitchen nightmares he is down to earth and kind to those who are victims of the tragedy and he is telling the truth but he doesnt want ANYONE telling him he's wrong (because mainly he never is ) In hells kitchen they are competting to be the best chef, but its still his standards! He says himself the best way is pushing them to the limits. He is giving away such a huge price he has to give it to someone that deserves it.

And you can buy a cheap Lobster, of not the best quality for about 35$. Sure, if you want handfished high-class Lobsters, they are almost 100$/Kg, but you can take every ingredient and take the expensive high-class version of it.

Just like every single vegetarian i know - they just want to let people know they are vegetarian. I don't know any vegetarian who didn't tell me about his eating habits after more than 5 minutes after introducing. Then they just want to tell you that you are horrible person cos you kill animals. Even if the creature itself is dead, it's nervous system can still be active in the seconds after it died. I've done a bit of fishing myself and even though one fish we caught had his head severed off it was still wriggling madly on the ground for a few moments. Been a year since you made this comment so you might already know this by now but hey, now you know if you didn't. lol.
