Its only 450$ a fish cooked and done. The MOST EXPENSIVE!! salmon will never be more then $30lb and that was AT MOST! 6lb of usable meat and if you buy it whole the fish is discounted nicely. A whole king salmon like that is maybe 200$ ( top price ) if you buy it from any grocery, butcher, or fish market )

My favorite Chef is Jacques Pépin. He has been in the kitchen for 73 years. Everything he does is an exhibition of life-long practice, & he is so laid back about his instructions. Chef Ramsay favors him in that way. When they show how to make something it's with an eye on people actually being able to follow them. The directions aren't so involved that someone without any kitchen experience couldn't follow or keep up with them. Matter of fact, I'm making Chef Ramsay's signature dish, Beef Wellington, tonight. I couldn't get Parma ham so I'm going to switch it out with Prosuitto.

@@VlogCandyMinuspeople usually pronounce it the French way when saying words like Filet mignon, but in other context, people pronounce it as fillet/'filit. It's a loan word. Not all loan words retain the pronunciation. And if you want to get more technical, the French word Filet comes from Latin filum. Are they pronounced the same? No. As words get passed around through languages it does evolve. You don't have to be an asshole about it either.
