Loved watching this version rainy Sunday afternoons on BBC America. It’s weird because even with Gordon getting intense and pissed all the time, I found it very relaxing to watch. Must’ve been the accents. The American version is so annoying with the dumb narrator and music

The crazy part about this whole "prank" was that Gordon was giving these kids a once in a life time chance. As you can see the owner would have never in a million years given those young chiefs a chance to show what they can really do. It also shows that Gordon not only has a heart, but his instincts are pretty damn sharp when it comes to cooking prowess.

Ramsay cooked those dishes in a sense. He managed those two kids and made them cook those meals so good. That's what a real chef does, manages his coworkers and makes sure everything is top quality on everyones end.

I love when mr. Ramsay does this sort of stuff, because it shows that he is not just some kind of upperclass smugg - but he is actually capable of trusting others to do good aswell. Giving young cooks confidence and in a way encouraging people to step up for theirself and actually speak their mind sometimes because they are really capable of some awesome things. Its not just experience or training thats important but its also about the heart a cook puts into his/her work. Because honestly not all restaurants need to serve 4star meals, if it can just be up to its expectations and a motivated worker will do allot more than someone who isnt motivated, even if the later one is actually an expert. +someone with less experience can gain the experience way more easy than someone could gain a motivation drive. Awesome short, got to go prepare myself something to eat now ;).
