Unfortunately restaurants that use generous coupons attract the elderly, which then becomes your primary customer base. To make up for the lack of profits, food quality goes down which then affects any new customers experience. Its a black hole. I've seen too many restaurants suffer or close because of this tactic. Short term coupons are fine to attract new customers, but if used as a crutch to keep the doors open, you're just prolonging the inevitable.

Regarding the Miracle of Lanciano, the flesh and blood do exist, but there is no proof that bread and wine turned into flesh and blood. How do we know it wasn't just planted there and then proclaimed to be a miracle? Stigmata is just people self harming. That's all I can see to it and it's a very good explanation. The statue of risen Christ is hollow, and water in it seeps put from tiny cracks at the knees. Link me to the study that says it's human tears. Also link me to the piece-of-parchment-having-jesus-face thing. I'm interested.

I think the implication is that the chef doesn't taste his food. It's the equivalent of deaf people playing musical instruments. They can't tell if they're out of tune, so they have to rely on people tuning their instruments for them. For chefs, they'd have to rely on other people tasting their food or just assume that the recipes are great.

Zairanang El Niño is an abnormal weather pattern that is caused by the warming of the Pacific Ocean near the equator, off the coast of South America. This occurs when the normal trade winds weaken (or even reverse), which lets the warm water that is usually found in the western Pacific flow instead towards the east. This warm water displaces the cooler water that is normally found near the surface of the eastern Pacific, setting off atmospheric changes that affect weather patterns in many parts of the world.

Well I mean, for a fiver it's pretty darn good. But it's not supposed to a be a cheap dining place, so it has to have standards. That's what ticks off Gordon. This place is supposed to serve great food, at a price far higher than this voucher crap.

I can agree. If I was the one eating this, I could stomach it. However if I was the person cooking it, I wouldn't want my customers to eat this. Leftovers, easy eating, but if I'm going out to eat, I expect a fresh meal.

I love that Gordon could walk in to literally anyone's house, at Sunday lunch, where the owner has made it just how they like it and the whole family are happy around the dinner table, and he'd be like "Bloody Hell, this is ghastly! It's fucking raw! BLAND!"

Some people really have a bad idea of Gordon Ramsey because of how he speaks and even say he is disrespectfull, but the way we says things when meeting with the staff like "we are sinking, we have this problem and that problem" i mean, he puts himself as if he works there and not going off like "YOU have this problem, YOU are sinking" he actually takes responsability over something he has not caused and makes it his own to actually help them out

Pensions and social security don't stretch nearly as far as it used to, and yet life expectancy rates are getting higher and higher. When you don't know when you're going to "stop spending" (so to speak), and it's getting more and more expensive to heat your house during the Winter, you're going to scrimp to make that social security last.
