We followed the directions exactly, (without burning down our house even). Thanks Gordon, for this and all your lovely recipes from the humble 4.5 minute boiled egg, the great creamy scrambled egg and salmon to the more exotic dishes; all of them turning out pretty much perfect by following your directions.

Throw em in the garlic butter for a minute and add 1/4 to 1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce, minced parsley, half a lemon squeezed, small dust of sugar. I use old bay too and olive oil and butter on my shrimps but after watching this, i now know to put butter in last minute. Bcus i find if u put lots of butter on to early it becomes watery thin and i dont like it. I like it a bit thicker. But this recipe i always used before but the butter makes a huge difference of when u add it in. Goodstuff!

No doubt delicious. I do like mine with shells on and with a heavy dose of black pepper and Worcestershire. I was also shown recently to drop the heat to low before adding the butter so the sauce doesn’t “break”. Shouts out to Mr. B’s
