She says “I’ll pat you on the head, Melt ya and stick it to ya... and as she’s saying it she is preparing the chicken with the butter because even he’s good if you put a ton of butter on him. Imho Julia really just went after Gordon's personality while Gordon went after more various things - her cooking included. In a battle between chefs, I feel like cooking is what should make the difference, so I've never been able to give Julia the win when she's had nothing to say about Gordon's cooking.

I share this unpopular opinion. It's funny to me that people will point out one trick ponies in other rap battles but not this one. Although I consider this particular battle to be a tie. Child definitely won the first round but had nothing good to come back with in the second round after Ramsay criticized her cooking. Her retort to the criticisms on her cooking was basically "oh please I've already won and you're still a douchebag" with clever food puns mixed in. The most damaging thing you can do to a chef is criticize their cooking, and she didn't do that. Probably because the writers of the rap battle couldn't figure out a way to criticize Ramsay's cooking.

Gotta take into account that they're basing the battles off of real people, and we all know that as a chef, Ramsay certainly cooks. Very successfully so. We also know how Ramsay acts in his shows, which is Julia's main point. He acts rudely on TV because, honestly, that's why many of us find him entertaining and like him to begin with. So where's the actual diss? I also don't believe Blue Team is helping Ramsay very much here either, because it's not like any of them had a proper verse. I still believe that roasting a chef's cooking is a better diss than "well, you're rude on TV" - especially when the latter is something the person's famous for.

Sure, thus far it may be true, but there are two huge problems with comparing the stomach to a flame. The first is that it do not account for the amount of grease that is never absorbed by the body, but just leaves the body with the shit. The second is that is don't even account for the lot of the material, grease as well as others, which is not "burned" per se, but transformed and/or broken down to create other materials. Essentially, the human body is not a clear flame, and it uses materials very differently than simply burning it in the sense of a fire. Therefor, the calorie system has nothing to do with how the human body actually react and act. Self-fulfilling prophesies, on the other hand, as well as placebo (which is similar) has proven to have some effect, time and time again. Also, so has a decent amount of exercise and rest.

Nowhere in any comments on this ERB, behind the scenes or reaction channels it is mentioned which fish it is & i myself fail to identify. If it is a shark, it's an odd choice for a fish. Julia Child is known for her shark repellent before known as a chef. Still that one is such a tiny one. ERB should have went for the dish that started it all, which is sole fish as base. If it's to look more badass...a small shark won't cut it, only big ones.

To me it comes down to this, both of them had a kick ass second round, but the first round was clearly julia. So she gets the W for me. Ramseys first round was weak on real hits. There were some decent digs but nothing that impressive and a lot of the verse was just bragging about how much better he was instead of giving her body blows. Some good flow, good rhyme scheme but no real uppercuts.

There are plenty of sharks that don't have the "trademark" fins on them and look more like where the prop in this has its dorsal. The carpet shark, nurse shark, shyshark, bramble shark, most six and seven gill sharks... the list goes on. Also, Julia Child did not work for the CIA.
