They certainly cook differently. I don't know about other nations but white onions are only really available in Australia around Summer. Red and brown are there all year round. Bit of a pain really as I find Asian dishes definitely go better with white onions. I have used reds with lamb chops and they are bloody marvellous.

I'm just watching this in 2022... I'm a nurse, involved heavily with COVID-19 patients when the pandemic began, moved into ITU. I've been away for 18 months in another role, and I'm going back to work in A&E next month, and honestly, when you said about the NHS, it gave me a pang of pride, but also took me right back to when it began. HI Girl's be so proud of dad he's a big chief at home but also a great man trying to teach you guy's same time ,great chef always,I did buy his books there are so great ,my wife and I enjoying learning and trying to make same plate as him, and I am so surprise how are plates they come out ,I am the one who love he's cooking my wife only enjoy it lol, but we always enjoy Gordon Ramsay he's the great's chef in my life,I wish i can meet him or go to learn from him,Im from argentina we do have lot's of plate back home but he's food it's alway amazing .thank you gordon for your videos.

Omg THANK YOU! I had just had a brutal day of running around like crazy for my children, trying not to contract Covid while getting their necessities and I get home to a resounding lack of appreciation. Before I went out to risk my life, all was life and death and drama. I get home and suddenly it’s inconsequential. Then I put on this video and try to regain my temper and you’ve no idea how it helped to see the great Gordon Ramsay being given a hard time by his children as well. I feel much better. And the dish looks amazing. Thank you for making my day better.

Finally a bangers and mash recipe! Been needing this for a long time to recreate a bar food I missed in the UK! Thanks for making this video and keep these coming! I’m sorry your daughters aren’t giving your cooking much justice, maybe next video get one to focus on the food and another on you so you have enough footage. I did get a bit frustrated not being able to see some close up of the food and missed knowing how it looks at certain times to keep track if I’m doing it right.
