My family and I are watching Gordon’s show on Disney + “uncharted.” And he gets to the end of the episode with the cook off. And I realized, this is the same exact spot where he shot his egg fried rice video. Then I saw it’s the same outfit. Meaning he shot it the same day! So shooting an episode of the show, and shooting a KZbin video, cooking two completely different meals. What work ethic. I’m not even a cook and this shows me what a proper work ethic looks like.

I was careful with the spices cause im not used to really spicy food but it was so damn delicious and i could even taste the different spices. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to try this out, just be careful with the rendang

I just want to say. He is the best chef ever not only because of his cooking skill, but also on how much research that he has done to cook a dish from other country. Some chef tried to cook egg fried rice before, but failed miserably because of their lack of research. But ramsay has done justice on this nasi goreng. Love you gordon from indonesia.

There is no doubt that Chef Ramsay will make the fried rice the proper way considering he's really expanded his knowledge and understanding of Asian cooking by visiting various Asian countries over the last few years. Look at all those other Asian dishes he's made on his channel after. He will often reference the traditional cooking techniques from the origin of those countries. Not only is he carrying out the traditional way of cooking these dishes, he is also educating the viewers. This is how it should be done. Gord is a genius because he knows that this video will have a significant contrast with the chili jam fried rice guy 😄😏.

What i do is boil tomatoes, chilis and onions, then grind them. An alternative is to fry the ingredients before grinding them. Scramble the eggs first, set aside. Fry the ingredients in oil and when they turn yellowish put in the rice, sliced chicken, sliced meatballs, mix thoroughly, then put in the scrambled eggs and sliced chives. Add soy sauce if you like. You can also add shrimp paste if you like. Mix well and then it's ready. Serve it with shrimp chips or emping. That's our traditional fried rice recipe from Jakarta.

He is cooking so fast because he might have made a research that "abang-abang nasgor keliling" in the Indonesian street cooking like that. Indonesian Abang-Abang Nasgor is known selling the yummy nasgor than hotel's nasgor. They have a style cooking their nasgor very fast and the wok should be very hot. They doing attraction like mixing the nasgor by throwing little bit over the pan and the sound of wok made some sensational scene to people who see the nasgor before their eat. Especially while throwing the nasgor over the pan, will makes some beautiful fragrant smells of the spices which makes tummy feels hungrier.
