@Pass Datass Really my guy? I'm 26. Gordon contradicts himself a ton. But that's fine. "Do as I say, not as I do" is a saying for a reason. Also you can't tell how old a person is via text. You can make a guess. But some children are incredibly well spoken and some adults can't write to save their lives. People are just making jokes. You see it all the time on Gordon's videos. Especially when it comes to olive oil. That man will straight up say, "Just a like bit of olive oil." And then will fill the pan with the oil. At this point he's probably doing it just to make us laugh.

well said. just the little things like seasoning the butter, basting the eggs, seasoning each layer while 'building' the sandwich, adding a lot of lemon to the spicy mayo, letting the eggs cook with just the pan's heat---all of those are easy to apply, but add a level of intention and nuance to a sandwich. changes how you look at any simple food. he's an impressive guy; great entertainer, while obviously possessing strong principles. One of the few mega-celebrities I don't feel ashamed to like.
