Speaking of defense in this game, how is it calculated for damage? I've seen character with 10-20K more defense but almost no DR take less damage than a character with less defense but significant DR from the same attacks. I see this a ton in PVP, with character with 0-40% DR take 1/2 the damage a character with 60-70% DR, and the only effective (after team buffs) difference is an increase of, say, going from 165-170K defense, or 5K, for example.
