Thanks for a great review of a great movie! Thanks also for not being simplistic like so many reviewers who get it wrong by saying Gorgo as just a "Godzilla Rip Off." If I may add my rationale for your viewers: Gorgo was NOT "Just a Godzilla Rip Off" and I say so for several reasons: 1. Gorgo is a totally different creature that looks nothing like Godzilla. 2. The noble character, purpose, and motivation of Mama Gorgo is the polar opposite of the randomly destructive character of Godzilla. 3. The plot of Gorgo is very original and not even remotely similar to the plot of Godzilla. 4. Gorgo is also very original in featuring a parent and baby monster, which Godzilla does not. 5. The human characters in Gorgo have no similarities to those found in Godzilla. 6. The photography in both movies is vastly different in tone, color, and atmosphere. 7. The miniature sets and destruction scenes in Gorgo are far more detailed and realistic than Godzilla. 8. The moral message of Gorgo is similar, yet quite different than that of Godzilla. 9. In the end, Gorgo wins, while Godzilla is defeated. So...Basically, the only real similarity is that both films show a giant monster destroying a city, but then again so do many other monster movies.

@@step3892 Thanks for watching bud!! Thank you for the great compliment as well! Big fan of this movie ever since the first time I saw it. For Britain not really being known for doing giant monster flicks, they certainly knocked it out of the park with this one.
