Thing I love about Gorillas is pretty much 9.8 times out of 10 when they fight it's all boxing, grappling and wrestling, it can be very aggressive but they're just slabs of sinew and muscle. Someone wins and it's done. Chimpanzees will literally beat each other to death with rocks, bite out jugulars, pull off arms and testicles or hold each others heads under wet mud until the other one stops twitching. @user-vy2bg7jo4m3 жыл бұрын
I think so
@ThePanther973 жыл бұрын
Yes, these are indeed mountain gorillas. Mountain gorillas tend to be the hairiest of gorillas due to the cold mountain climate and are also darker. They tend to be a lot heavier than other gorillas, with only Grauer's gorillas (another subspecies) that rival them in size. Grauer's gorillas also have a similar dark appearance, but their fur tends to be shorter due to them living in warmer climates, they also have longer and more narrow faces than other gorillas which kind of makes them look distinct.

@@idiliavillagra2803 have u seen the teeth on a silver back lol? Wtf!
@lachlanbell83902 жыл бұрын
@Adams Tk Have YOU seen the teeth on a lion? You might wanna do a quick image search on canine teeth of gorillas, then do the same for lions. Gorilla's might have some pretty intimidating dentition, but it's not even close to what lions are packing. Bear in mind, these creatures are the product of endless evolution that's made them perfectly suited for what they do. Gorilla's might use those teeth for warding off predators as well as tough vegetation, but lions use their teeth to survive. They're designed purely for killing, and lions routinely take down the world's only remaining megafauna. If they can take down Cape buffalo, rhino's, hippos, they can take down a gorilla. Try watching video of cats hunting, and pay attention to their technique. All cats know exactly where their prey's critical vulnerable areas are, and how to use those weak points to take down prey way bigger than they are. Most times it's the throat - sometimes you'll see them clamp down over their prey's nose & mouth to literally suffocate them, but usually they go for the throat and choke them out. A gorilla might pose real danger to a lion, but when the lion saw the opening and went for the jugular (literally), it's almost certainly over. Gorilla might be able to inflict some damage before he dies, but once a big cat has its fangs deep in something's throat, it's just a matter of waiting out the clock. It's an interesting thought experiment, but you're delusional if you think the gorilla has a decent chance.
@thespy77952 жыл бұрын
@@lachlanbell8390 Lions don't take down rhinos or hippos. They attack baby or young hippos, NOT full grown hippos. They only do that with a pride of lions. A Bear has SMALL canines, but it is so powerful it can take down a 1 ton Moose. A Silverback Mountain Gorilla has a Stronger Bite Force than a Tiger or Lion. They also have the advantage of using their hands because they're primates. The Power of a MOUNTAIN Silverback Gorilla is Formidable. I choose the Silverback!
