I'm very glad they're actually allowing them to freely go in and out of the basement to see Nene, even if it means people get to see them less, i don't feel like they're being totally honest about Nene's condition improving though, from the pics they've shared it looks like she's still mostly unable to walk and crawls on the ground, and i don't think her arthritis will help her recover any time soon, sadly. Japanese zoos really have to start shaping up on the topic of learning when its time to part with animals, whether its elderly animals in worsening life conditions like Nene, or young and energetic animals like Gentaro or Haoko's girls who are basically stuck in their family group and denied an opportunity to mate and have their own families

I agree, it seems to me that all they did was just throw her into some dark, dingy, and cold concrete basement and called it quits, I’m starting to understand why the US doesn’t send any gorillas over there, well at least this zoo.

They don’t send them to Japan at all from my understanding. TBH, these channels are designed to promote the Japanese zoos but that has backfired. The way they have handled this situation is despicable imo. Trying to make money off these animals while creating a bad environment and not doing right by them is the really bad form of imprisonment

Who are the hater here ? You are since you wanted to curse people that show you true facts . People loves Ai But facts are facts and they are true and real. Nobody are saying lies as Ai rejected her daughter Annie that was first raised by humans and by Shabani as a father and as a mother too, growing her defended her and give her the love that her mother Ai didn’t, besides Ai and Nene push her , bite her , knock her etc that why Shabani defended her . I advise you to the video “ the history of Annie “ and old video so maybe you will learn the facts you don’t post hateful posts

Annie just wanted to help, gardening skills are on her resume Jokes aside out of all the gorillas in here Annie is likely the only one that can be approached by humans(probably due to her being raised by humans) Any poor soul that tries to get near Shabani is bound to have a bad end to his day

I find it strange that everyone says Shabani is so nice & friendly and then you say if someone gets anywhere near him he’ll attack them, gorillas are peaceful and are not naturally aggressive.❤️

He is ! Shabani is a very sweet and affectionate gorilla but sometimes when the public makes a lot of noise he doesn’t like at all!

@@TheWhiteKnight1 A random person going near his family is a threat. He won't be sweet and friendly to a possible threat, and in the wild humans are threats. Obviously despite their size gorillas are generally peaceful, nowhere near as aggressive as chimps
