Even at the same weight class buddy. A gorilla has four times the density of muscle fibres compared to a human. A similar human would have to be four times as big to be able to do similar feats.

Not to mention the ease with which they can move 600lb's of mass. They can do one arm chin ups at that weight. A 400lb strong man can do a few half rep chin ups for comparison. The strength of these primates is just phenomenal.

@@theanimehub2180 Calcium increases bone density much, much more than testosterone. The effects testosterone have on bone density are still under examination. Early tests suggesting that old men with low levels of testosterone have weak bones, have not yet determined causation, but more correlation with low testosterone and light bone density. And that's what you'd expect. Those who are more sedentary, have weaker bones. Just like those who stop training, their muscles shrink.

It's the whole underlying frame (skeleton) that's bigger in its dimensions, not just bone thickness. This provides for greater leverage than a human skeleton, and therefore, greater strength.

Their bodies are quite literally the apex of what our bodies would’ve been if we were designed for strength and power rather than intelligence. Their anatomical proportions are designed so a deadlift for them looks like a human’s deadlift after the bar passes the knee (generally the point it gets easier). Their posterior chain is also designed to be extremely powerful. You can see that just in the size of the gorilla’s glutes.

As well, unlike humans, gorillas' cecum is larger and more functional than humans. As a result, they can digest cellulose but not as carb, but as fatty acids and in particular omega fatty acids. So when we eat fruit/veggies we only convert it to a carb but when gorillas eat fruit/veggies they convert it to carb and fat.

They’re much stronger because they have to be to survive in the wilderness. Believe me, gorillas don’t pause and flex and look at themselves in the mirror even if they had one. A full grown male leopard will ambush a Silverback and try to sink his fangs into his skull ( at the base) . If he misses he will try to slash it's throat or rip open it's groin . If successful....the leopard will retreat and wait for the Gorrilla to bleed out.. Then he will stalk the Silverbacks defenseless family, picking off his wives and children whenever he's hungry. That same Leopard will use the exact same technique on a human or chimpanzee family. It has been documented and it blew scientists away. Leopards are the only natural enemy of Gorrillas. Leopards are the most underrated predators on earth , hunting the deadliest prey since the dawn of history, including , crocodiles 🐊, pythons, and primates( chimps , Gorrillas and even man). These amazingly intelligent predators use different hunting techniques for reptiles and primates.

@billy6427 Negative, sir. Once again, we underestimate the leopard. Gorrillas are, of course, primates and scientificly speaking, male primates dwarf females because the job of the males is to protect the family from predators. Female Gorrillas are comparable to female humans, afraid of snakes, grabbing her children, and fleeing while screaming for help. Male chimpanzees have been known to attack female Gorrillas, tearing their children straight from their arms, while the terrorfied female screams for help. They are not built for fighting, and so, in the wild, they become used to depending on the giant Silverbacks to defend them. The leopard realized, somewhere during our long, joint history of cohabitation - that if he could only eliminate the large aggressive males from the picture... hunting primates becomes like taking candy from a baby.
