When I think about it the story in Demon Days and Plastic Beach are so absurd, these two phases do not fit in with the rest, the amount of nonsense that goes on in these just makes the other phases seem so pleasant. Outside of Murdoc being in jail for a bit nothing as bad as this has happened again so far, I don't know man, it's like Murdoc's going off to war and the rest of the crew just got dragged along with him. Similar to WW2 when people got drafted into the army, it's an interesting adventure but it's just so dark, the Empire Strikes Back of the Gorillaz phases.
