Gorillaz is such a great band. The spirit of the songs and amount of people involving their souls and vision into one piece, that doesnt sound VERY WELL organized, vibe-producing and emotional is pure art. @@anri4774 I have a copy of their first album - _Gorillaz_ - on CASSETTE. A 20 year old CASSETTE TAPE of their first album. Very rare. As well as an EVEN MORE rare 15 year old copy of _Demon Days_ on cassette as well. And I also have the special 2-D version of the Song Machine mixtape cassettes. Once my copies of the other 3 versions of the Song Machine mixtape cassettes - the Noodle variant, the Russel variant, and the Murdoc variant - finally arrive in the damn mail, and as soon as I get around to tracking down an AFFORDABLE, REASONABLY-PRICED copy of the very rare, limited released _The Now Now_ cassette tapes, I will officially have every single solitary cassette tape that Gorillaz had ever officially released. Sadly, they never did release _Plastic Beach, The Fall,_ or _Humanz_ on cassette, only CD, vinyl, digital, and streaming. I can't wait for my Song Machine tapes to get here tho, the tapes themselves look SO interesting and unique, that's like half the reason I decided to buy them. Kinda disappointed in the box the cassette comes in tho. It's a really cheapo flimsy bit of cardboard that the tape slides in and out of, as opposed to an actual plastic box that you open and has an insert and everything like cassettes used to have back when they were the main thing. And frankly it's the same thing with the Deluxe Edition CD's case too. This flimsy little cardboard thing that the CDs & insert booklet slide into! Wtf is that?! The tracklist is literally a sticker on the back too! Mine has already gotten a little rip in it JUST from me taking the CD in and out, ffs! But the cassette tapes themselves are dope af, as is the whole album, even if they cheaped out on the cases/boxes for them (and also put an extra 18th song on the JAPANESE version of the Deluxe Edition CD that NOBODY else got, just the Japan release of the Deluxe Edition CD >:I), I still really hope that I can track down an affordable copy of the _The Now Now_ cassettes too, because that one also had a very cool baby-blue custom cassette tape AND a traditional plastic case to store the tape in WITH an insert. But so far the only one I've been able to find is a copy being sold by some Russian dude for $100USD. And I'm not so sure I want it THAT badly...lol!

Opium would be such a good opening song for the live concert! The build up of music and the crowd 👍it's going to be electric! Like clubbing back in the day 😀 I think it's difficult to compare bands because even if someone has a similar vibe or sound they may be saying something totally different and vice versa, they may be completely different but may have the same message. Music is very personal but yet universal at the same time. I guess it's just a case of how a song hits you inside and what meaning or memories we attach to them! The song machine project is really creative because throwing the constraints out ( which we should all do really because when it comes to creativity, experimentation its how we find new and interesting things!) So I personally think that the song machine project is more integral to the creative process but then again my art teacher used to say that I get too caught up in the process lol However Damon and Jamie and their team really deliver the outcome really perfectly but it doesn't have to be perfect for fs, it takes balls to create and share with the world and that's admirable in itself! Fuck the critics, music is there to be enjoyed, I'm of the opinion if you don't like it don't listen and leave everyone else to enjoy it! Let music and creative expression live! Us humans are just the vehicles for it to express itself through👍
