I've just read the script dude. It doesn't work for me brother. My agent has made a few revisions jack! From now on Goro will be known as Hulko. And Hulko isn't a bad guy dude. So for the final scene brother, it's all 99 Mortal Kombat Characters against Hulko dude. And the fate of the earth is resting on Hulkos giant shoulders man. And the 99 characters each have weapons dude, otherwise the little movie marks will never believe they could overpower Hulko. So then jack, just when it looks like Earth is done for, Hulko Hulks up and drops a leg on all 99 characters as a voice declares "Fatality" dude.

CinemaSins- is it possible that the goro effects were actually better in the 1995 version of this movie Th3Birdman-well that all comes down to if you prefer cgi to animatronics but as far as which one looks better - this is what goro looks like in the games. this is what he looked like in 1995. (2nd arms sticking out like puppet) and this is what he looks like now. the one that actually looks like the source material wins. Flawless victory

I think it remains for me that Kano was probably the only thing good about this movie for me. IF one good thing that can be said is that they gave Goro a rather long fight... but annoyed that he was defeated by a character nobody liked. But it's never like the series gave much respect to Goro despite him being one of the poster childs of what attracted people to play the game in the Arcades in the first place.

Goro is not some henchmen he is a boss character. Was actually the final boss originally but they added Shang Tsung without even having enough space to digitize an actor. Como me encanta esta pelea y esta versión de Goro. Tengo un gran problema con el de la película antigua y es que aunque tenía mejor personalidad ya cuando peleaba era una decepción. Johnny le golpea los testículos y huye para luego emboscarlo y tirarlo por un precipicio. Aquí con Cole si es una gran pelea donde si hay intercambio de golpes y hasta con un fatality. En resumen, una verdadera pelea de Mortal Kombat

I gotta be real, I don't really understand the hate with this Goro or this fight, or even Cole. Like, he definitely does feel out of place for most of the movie, but that's because he's the singular original character in a full cast of series veterans, *as the protagonist,* but honestly i think he pretty much does exactly what johnny cage does in MK9, and he has a cool power, where he can absorb energy from attacks in order to deal it back out, which is a classic superpower. goro then proceeds to kick his ass for 2/3 of the fight, in a pretty menacing way, with Cole barely surviving the whole time, and pretty much only loses because of Cole's OP power, and like yeah I wish he had a better fate but this is literally Mortal Kombat! He will be back lol. Death isn't the end in this series.

CinemaSins-do we seriously not have enough characters that have been introduced at this point in the movie i'm pretty sure there are fewer heroes and villains and all of the actual video game iterations combined Th3Birdman- Don't be sure about things you don't know [ __ ] about. There are only 16 characters in this movie but the game has over 70 playable characters .70 ....and they still somehow made Cole a thing

You can't beat the originals. The first original movie from 1995 and the 2 movie to that were miles better. This movie was based on the new Mortal Kombat games. I must say that they done very well with Sub Zero in the New movie. He is basically the main character. As they killed him already in this movie I think they may bring Sub Zero back as Noob Saibot in the sequel.

This movie was ass. I just watched it. Corny, cheesy, and really poor delivery. The original movie had bland fighting scenes imo which this one was an improvement on. But plot wise and character development was just horrible. The original did better in every other way save the fight scenes. Though, the excessive amounts of blood and characters still able to fight after what would otherwise kill a normal human was kind of funny.
