I notice that when using the thickest stick shaft it was difficult in some games (RDR2 for one) to select the Left/right/up/down from the item wheel. The problem was solved using the middle thickness attachment.

Hi Goshuki, The main reason I’d switch from the PS4 Dual Shock is having gone through 2 in 1 year because of left stick drift with no good way of correcting it. You mentioned with the Astro C40 review that you can solve drift easily, is this true as well with the Nacon?

Took the plunge and got an Unlimited yesterday (150€ here in Finland). Really like it from the get-go. Only had time to config the keybinds for Fortnite and play one match of Team Rumble. Got an average score, 12 kills, but put some flick shots in that really surprised me :D. The sticks are really precise! Have an Elite controller for Xbone and that one really shines over the Unlimited in two things: - The elite has really good paddles, large and easy to find and use. The Unlimited's miniscule buttons will really take some getting used to. - The elite's magnetic sticks feel way better than the unlimited's. I predict that the plastic clips that hold the unlimited's sticks will break pretty easily.

Oh yeah Elite is great. You know there are adapters to make the Elite work on PS4 pretty well. Overall though I agree, the Unlimited is nice but those back buttons could be more pronounced.

Yes, I've seen the adapters but went the more expensive route anyways :D. Also, I got the Elite used and the sticks feel pretty loose, sticks on the stock Dual Shock (and the Unlimited) feel more stiff (haha) and hence are better for precise aiming. Side note: I play Fortnite on both Xbox and PS4 (and Switch). Is it just me or is aim assist way, WAY, weaker on Xbox?

Stick shaft thickness is dependent on game optimisation. You might find games slow to respond at centre aim point so you up the in game sensitivity to get that right, then discover your max turn rate is way to fast so you can thicken your stick to kill off the max speed mechanically adjusting your response curve as much as possible before dicking around with digital response settings. As long as you start from a static deadspot position its best to rely on in game settings first then mechanical set up then pad programming. Not all games have deadspot calibration or response curve or acceleration options in the menus for some shit reason & pad memory reliance may be limited?

Ive had this controller for about a month and ive got my right stick perfect, but ive watched many videos on this and I dont understand anyones reasoning for keeping the movement stick for FPS games as default. Surely making this sensitivity higher with minimal input would make it easier to strafe left and right in a gunfight?

Well I can tell you that the thicker shafts don’t allow full movement on apex legends... middle ones are good tho.

I think I’m missing something. When you put the bigger shaft on the stick, you will impair movement in the hardware, but the software will just register you not pushing the stick all the way. Is there no way in the software to make it read you’re pushing the stick all the way?

Question for you goshuki: im playing the golf club 2019 on ps4..and like you know maybe the game is only to get straight swings..so simple you only use the right stick and going down and up..everry time every day..is it possible to customize the right stick only to get swings almost only down to up..so without or at least less hit to the right or left if you know what i mean? Nacon pro2 died so yes now I have the pro3. For racing the smallest on the left, FIFA I play with the thickest. Right I don't change really. For racing I have the sensitivity on -. Further on+. Don't change much. Not many uploaded profiles either

This did help, so thank you for that. But here's my delima. No matter what game I'm auing these stick don't seem to have a gradual curve to their movements. Example, I would expect that if my stick is pushed to 45% then my movements will be 45%. But in the Nacon, it seems to only have three speeds, so depending on where your stick is you're going to get level A, B, Or C with no in between. Am I doing something wrong?

Thats the problem im having. If i use the mid size ring and push the analog stick all the way its like im only moving it halfway in the game. I cant move at full speed with it basically. I think its that you need the max 1 setting on the left to happen at a number lower than 100 on the bottom. I think the red section gets smaller as you use a thicker ring. Could be wrong though i gotta try it out

Hi. I changed the stick shaft for the thickest one. The issue is that it won't register all the way to the end. In the test menu on the software it won't get to the edge of the crosshair. This has made an issue in the menus as it won't work properly as the range is limited. Is there any way to re calibrate the input of the left stick with the thicker shaft?

Hi Goshuki, I have the Pro 2 wired version...I find the left stick really sluggish on the default settings. On the normal DS4 it's so easy to do the "side to side" thing if someone is shooting you, but on this one, it moves sooo slow...any advice on setting the left stick to be more responsive? Thanks.

Hey i played the revolution 1 for years. It had good precision on default curve.I get the same settings on my unlimited now but it just doenst feel the same. It feels very clunky and not precise. Espeically if i move the right sticks just a little bit it act very strange. If I move the right stick just a bit I can not aim correctly, it's too slow. Also on deadzone 1 and with a default curve. Any of you had the same kinda problems?

I'm trying to get the controller to respond similar to my Dual shock controller but I feel like it very sensitive. I get this a lot, and to be honest I just got used to the controller being more sensitive so I'm not too sure what would be a similar profile to the dual shock controller. You'd likely want to turn the sensitivity down because I would say this controller is more sensitive than a dual shock.

at 12:49 you say my left stick will be way too sensitive, but thats wrong...when you look you'll see that at 66% joystick movement your actual character movement is only 0.3...your small movements will be less sensitive..your right analogue stick is way more sensitive....

I got the pro2 model.Having problems configuring the analog sticks they feel just off.Anyone has setting that will make it feel just like a dual shock 4 ?Please help.

Nacon_Neutral works fine for me, a just change the dead zone to 5 in the right analog stick, and 2 for the left

in the right of this page can you explain to me what is the (sensitivity × - ) do? Because i had this controller and i wonna to be the same sens as the normal ps4 controller so what i use + or - ? For FORTNITE btw

Got my revolution unlimited today. I know nacon is all about customisation but I am disappointed. I just want a pro controller for the back buttons. The blue ring mode feels very off - almost as if it was designed to entice you to fiddle with the settings of red ring mode. I just want a thumstick that feels normal out of the box, you know? Returning it asap for a thrustmaster eswap Edit: thrustmaster had stick drift out of the box. Caved in and got this nacon back. Guess Ill just try and get used to it
