I am a classically trained musician ; i only started using the number scale system for about 6 years now..i am fortunate to be able to play by hear as well ; but i do have one advantage over the number system and the by hear players i:e I can take a music book and play any song or hymn..

at 2:29 it says a B13, but why isn't there an F# in the chord? are you just ommiting it? I'm trying to figure out why it's that chord. And thanks ur a beast bro keep it up.

You got it! It’s a B dominant chord but the 5 (F#) is just left out. The only notes in a dominant chord that are “necessary” are the 3rd and the dominant 7th. The 5th of any dominant chord isn’t needed and in this case was substituted for the 13th (G#).
