Why You Need Jesus As Your Substitutionary Atonement -

Jackie Hill-Perry explains how Abraham's obedience was directly tied to his unwavering faith in God-for whom nothing is too hard.
In Genesis 22, when Abraham is asked to sacrifice his only son, he obeys immediately. When Abraham thought about the sacrifice he had to make in the future, he remembered the resurrection (of his body and Sarah's) in the past. If God could do a miracle then, he could do a miracle now. Abraham’s faith is proved by his willingness to sacrifice his son and is affirmed by God, who then provides a ram as a substitutionary sacrifice. This provision saves Isaac from death, separation, and destruction.
The ram foreshadows Christ, who is not only our substitution for sin but also the Son of God who returned from the dead to glorify the Father. Perry calls us to remember who God is and what he has done when we're tested and tried. And just like Abraham, may we come to the other side of our trials refined with a faith that's affirmed by God.

I am sorry..But you will Suffer the Consequences of the sins you commit! Jesus Showed us How that works. He didn’t forgive the Pharisees the first time so He got hung on a Cross. Then He Forgave them. He Showed us how important Obeying the Commandments and Forgiving are. He was a Perfect Example for Us. 😊❤

Not an example. God gave Moses the Law to tell people that He was holy, and they must be holy. God sent the prophets to show and tell the people He still longed for relationship with them, although they rebelled. God sent Jesus as the perfect atonement sacrifice for our sin, so that we can be His holy children, family, people, priests and soul-winners until He returns to take us Home.

Honest question: Did Abraham have access to Deuteronomy? If he did, wouldn't he be disobeying God by offering Isaac?

Abraham's offering happened way before Deutoronomy and more importantly, God said so Himself that he must take Isaac and offer him. So this is to say, even if he had access to Deutoronomy but because God said so Himself, he would have to do it without question.
