I am so thankful for Dr. Carson and for the work of the Gospel Coalition. I must say, however, that the title of this video is misleading. This is simply Carson describing his vocational work not answering this biblically or pastorally for others. Please consider renaming this video.

Bit of an odd title, given what D.A. Carson says during it. Pastors often leave churches because they're called to other service.

It's because of the call even though they might have went to the institutions they might get pulled in into the vortex like in the vortec engine V8 Chevy power Astro van driving along cleaning the promises

Jesus Saves us From Pastors in Churches! Jesus Saved and Healed Alot of People in HIS Day. He Saved them from the doctrines of Men..the Pharisees! He does the same Today! Jesus did Not Say to the people He Saved.."Now People..you are going to have to wait until some Englishman writes the bible and some German invents the printing press so you can read the bible and believe on Paul..And THEN you will be Saved!

He saves pastors too from church members. One should never become a pastor in Holland. You get debts. You don't get paid and people won't listen to you (who do you think you are? My mom's pastor had a meeting where ppl would tell him what they didn't like about him and what he had to improve (for free of course)) and if you don't watch out you will take offense.

@@renskedj Jesus Said..”Call no man rabbi.” Jesus Is the Teacher for EveryOne who believes in Him. Everyone can share their own experience but no one should be teaching another.

We need leaders with a spine. If they are leaving, good for them, we don’t need that poison in the church
