It irks me that they had Blair marry Louie for no real reason besides drama. Everyone told her not to, and I get the obvious parallels to her mom’s wedding. The fact that she got jitters because she was marrying the wrong man. I think what they should’ve done is had Blair process what Chuck says here, and then goes to call it off. She tells Louie the truth- she’s always loved Chuck, and can’t in good conscience go through with it anymore. That’s when Louie gets really angry and has that villainous monologue from the reception scene. I just don’t understand why they had Blair go through with it if there wasn’t some major payoff. She stays with him for maybe an hour, and then it feels like Dan swoops in to pick over the scraps of their relationship.
