I’m so thankful for this scene. Dan is literally the biggest hypocrite ever and a selfish piece of 💩. Plus he wouldn't have accepted the spectator if he knew it was from his grandfather. Concluding with all of this. Nate wouldn't hurt his friends for anything in the world. He was selfless. He always gave everything for his friends without wanting something in exchange. He wasn't selfish. Dan literally backstabbed Nate. Someone who gave him a place to stay. Nate was almost on the verge of being bankrupt and needed dan’s article. What did dan do? He sold it to another company. Leaving Nate with nothing. Plus dan didn't even warn him. Because of Dan, Nate became a victim because bart bass used it to his advantage. When Bart paid his debt he started manipulating nate and forcing him to tell him stuff about chuck. Nate felt so guilty that he confessed to chuck. Nate was a good character. Dan wasn't. And yes Blair chose chuck but dan was literally obsessed with Blair. It was disgusting to watch.

Hate and more hate and Blair chosing Chuck who if you dont recall nearly hit her in the face and traded for a hotel Well i guess no one actually gets the briliant story. Just the best character

Agree. Serena didn’t work at all, having everything handed to her on a silver platter. Nate got his jobs due to his relatives in various fields (nepotism) 💼. Chuck took over the company Bart industries, handed on because of his father’s death 💀. Blair, Chuck, Nate and Serena were more privileged than characters like Dan, Jenny and Vanessa that started from the bottom. The humphreys were successful because they had a pure burning, unstoppable hunger and were willing to sacrifice to really make their dreams happen (Inspirational characters).

Dan and Jenny achieved success by relying on their skill because they started from zero, without anything to their name and not having a equal opportunity to succeed in life. The show represented the poor characters as villains (Bart, Jenny, Vanessa, Juliet, Ivy and Dan). • Vanessa had a big heart by putting the needs of others before her own such as learning a skill so she could privately tutor Dan ♥️. • The way I see things is Jenny felt inferior as she was poorer in contrast to her wealthy pupils at her private school 🏫. She compared herself to people who were better than her 💰, which affected her self esteem because of the peer pressure to keep up with the pricey lifestyle and her naivety took Blair’s words as law 😓. • Lily just cared about wealth and status. She hid behind a facade, using money to solve her problems so people view her as perfection and she sent an innocent man to prison 💰 💴 💵. However, Ivy wanted their love, not their money and she didn’t have a family 🏠.

The writers ruined Dan's character while he was the most interesting from season one. It's a joke!
