Excellent tone and very good value for money. I have the tenor and it has fine sustain, easy fingerpicking set-up.

I bought the Tenor a few days ago, after watching your review and researched a bit about it. It is my second uke, after a good quality all laminate that I started with. But the difference I felt in the sound, when I first strummed it, my jaw dropped! So rich sounding, or like you said "lots going on in there". I just love everything about it.

Its funny you mention Pono. I reminds me of my Pono ACD in the look of the body and that the sound is louder strummed and much quieter when picked. At a much lower price it seems like a very good value.

I’ve been waiting for you to review this one, I bought one in January - my second Uke as a ‘reward’ for my first six months of playing. I don’t have much to compare it to but nine months on it still feels a treat to get it out of the gigbag. I personally love the decoration, just enough without being too ‘bling’, the only thing I don’t like cosmetically is the side sound hole though it does give me somewhere else to put the clip-on tuner. The original strings on mine were D’Addario Titanium, but perhaps this has changed. I like Ernie Ball black nylon on mine, but of course that’s just personal taste. Anyway, it’s not a purchase I’ve regretted for a single second so I’m glad you approve!

I really like the looks of this ukulele. I am not a fan of open heads but this one looks pretty good. I like the sound, but to me of course on KZbin it seems the top sound hole takes away from the volume even though it may sound fine to the player. Over all I am 👍🏼 on this one. As always thanks for a fun review on a cool instrument…….DOC

The fingerprints on the fretboard (visible at 3:47) suggest that it has been played quite a bit. I suspect you may have purchased one that was test-played a few times.

I bet, if you change the strings it would make a much better sound also fingerpicking… I got me a Kai kci30 some months ago and was about to give it away again, but put on some anuenue-strings and wow, what an instrument!

Not fully sure - but bracing pattern can make a huge difference to the response of an instrument

I'm not near a decent uke store so it's a thomann order and then went out if stock by the time I got the track link an hour later. I hope that's a good omen but I wish that hadn't happened. It's so odd but I feel like I know you having watched about 50 of your videos/reviews/newbie tips in the past few weeks, which of course I don't.
