Not wanting to shoot my self defense ammunition because I don't want to pay $1+ a round to restock it.

This is the one lmao I understand bro 😂😅🙏🏽

My bad habit is being apprehensive about accepting help. But that might also be some unresolved issues from childhood so….. yeah

Yupp i can relate to that. Grew up learning to be a self starter. It’s a pride thing but once you move past it it’s great cause you learn a whole lot bro 🙏🏽

Taking too many different firearms to the range and not focusing on the carry firearm.

I'm with you bro...🤦🏽♂️

I started only taking my bedside gun and my carry gun only to the range and my AR every other time. I’m at an indoor range and can’t do transition drills or draw from a holster.
@TxpewАй бұрын
@@Jeremy2A that’s smart. I usually use the indoor for accuracy, grip and shooting every day carry but the outdoor range it’s fun to shoot the bigger faster guns lol

I did this for atleast my first 1 year and never focused on training. Now I focus on training with my carry gun more.

I used to have the same problem. Had to streamline and pick one pistol and one rifle and rock out

Good point about retaining magazines in a dump pouch, long term sustainability would dictate that we waste not. Semper fi!
@dariuskincaidАй бұрын
Exactly. No waste. That and me constantly pointing my damn rifle at the dirt is bugging me lol maybe it’s my deep coded training coming back but still.. lol

Shooting habits I’m working on is accuracy with my new pistol. I purchased a Glock 45 mos and was previously carrying a Canik mete mc9 with a red dot. Obviously the trigger is way better as well as having a better target picture with a red dot. Currently on my Glock 45 with a heavier trigger I’m pulling shots to the right since I’m a lefty. Not so much anticipation of shooting but my grip pressure changes since they are just going straight to the right horizontally by a couple inches. I know a couple inches doesn’t matter in a close self defense encounter but I want to see progress and seeing my shots hit where I’m aiming. Also I’m getting more proficient with iron sights on my Glock 45. I don’t have a red dot on my pistol yet since I want to train both iron sights and red dot that way I have the ability to use both no matter what pistol I have to pick up and use. My grouping is good but always room for improvement. Also I want to work on getting to the range more. I usually go once a month and want to maybe try to aim for 2 times a month. Also for the new year want to start taking more classes such as pistol defense classes.

I started reading a book by Ben Stoeger book on dry firing and it is helping me with my dry firing as I am a noob to shooting.

Just ordered a copy. Looking forward to reading heard great things

Year one of gun ownership and I’ve lied to myself that I needed 3 guns already. 43x, Mete SF, CZ P10C. My bad habit is they’re all kitted out, nice holsters, and too fun. I need to slow down and master them before a 4th is bought.
@LifeOfR0bАй бұрын
I think i need way more dry fire time / bite the bullet and spend money on an open range. Also would like to record myself more while training to see errors in my grip to be able to correct them.

I have to work on saying no to (or limit) friend's that just want to shoot all the time and not actually train...🤦🏽♂️

Working on my grip, my support hand doesn't grip hard enough so my return to zero isn't that good

Pulling my shots down and left with my Glock 19X. I haven’t been dry firing it enough and it showed on Saturday when I tested my newly installed GPT.

As new firearm owner, working on my grip and control the recoil. Im having a hard time hitting a target (bullseye) from 7 to 10 yds, shots go left. Currently at about 500 rds.
@motocrossrider122Ай бұрын
Shots going left typically indicates a trigger squeeze issue. Try focusing on that, might help.
@danielgutzzАй бұрын
@ thanks will do. I practice dry firing with a laser cartridge and hit my targets.

would you do a video on your thoughts about the FN 509, FN build, or just the FN platform in general?
