If I remember rightly, Jimin did want to do the costume change but it was too hard to wear one suit under the other and dance as he wanted to. He really does beat himself up when things don't go as he wants them to but he had to take the decision to stop and change and then carry on so it was pre- recorded. Still the most stunning performance though. I remember the first time I heard Crystal Snow live. It made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck - so amazing!

Both of these performances were brilliant! Crystal Snow from Japan-and it WAS Jin hitting that huge high note, and then Jimin had his at the end as well. Magnificent vocals from all of them! JIN returns on the 13th for FESTA-cannot wait! Another year before the others get back, (well, our sunshine Hobi returns in October, so that will be awesome), but just having a couple return to us so soon is going to be wonderful. ♦️Jimin said in an interview that he wanted the concept of the song “Filter”, to be to present himself to the world in many different ways! (There’s a day 2 ver. by channel Sissy Trois of Jimin Filter that does have the so important, meaningful, Eng subs on screen). Jimin also said that it's about perspective & prejudices as well!! Aside from saying in the song that I can be anything you (army) want me to be for you, I believe that Jimin is also trying to tell so many army that keep saying things like he's insecure, weak, or helpless, and needs protecting, or just cute or sexy, or just any one thing, whatever army indeed wants to think he is, isn't the real him! That he wears whatever 'filter' that army wants him to be, but indeed in reality is so not him!! That's why army are continually surprised when they see a glimmer of the real Jimin, the way more self assured, demonstrative, take charge, confident, charismatic, alluring, at times sexy, person that kills on stage! So this (pure genius) song, that the CEO 'Hit-Man Bang' (called that since way back when, as a producer, whatever he was involved in became a hit) Mr. Bang Si Hyuk, himself, was actually involved in writing the ever so genius lyrics, that Jimin had a hand in as well. The song's lyrics have more then one meaning!! So Jimin has pretty much been doing this since the beginning, playing the role of whatever army seems to prefer for him, but in actuality, hardly anyone knows the real Jimin! So much more then what many army believe him to be. Plus since Jimin never talks much about all his amazing past achievements, abilities, and accomplishments, even before ever joining BTS, many army are still unaware of so much.

After I met BTS I avoided Cristal snow for a while because I was in a hard time in my life and didn't want to sadden even more because I knew it was an emotional song, but after listening to it and then seeing this live, it became one of the most beloved BTS songs for me. Even though I've listened to it dozens of times, the tears always flow when I listen to this live version, I miss them so much and it physically hurts knowing how hard it must be for them to be apart for so long too. Luke 🫂💜🫂 "THAT" was Jin's famous triple high note. A thing I have never heard before. Rise - sustain - rise - sustain - rise -sustain. The vocal (and breath) control needed is truly impressive.💜 All the guys are amazing in this song, shining like Crystal Snow; but in their Japanese songs Jin and Jimin shine brightest. 💜 If you notice Jin had high notes, a double high, as well as his iconic triple high. And Jimin's vocals soared to the heavens, like a beautiful ray of light. Then the warmth of Tae's lower tones was such a beautiful counterpoint. Jungkook always impresses with his vocals. Yoongi's singing is so sweet and adorable. Namjoon's rap is impressive as always. and Hobi is always amazing.💜

About the cards the ARMY are holding. I hope someone who knows more will chime in. What I think is that they are different for every concert; they are on the seats when people arrive at the arena; that they aren't lifted up until right near the end. And the guys do not know what they will say ahead of time. I don't know when the custom started, who decides on the sayings, who makes the cards (the BigHit staff?), or if they do it for every concert tour. I have seen videos of the guys very moved by the sayings as they finish their concerts. Can you imagine what it must be like to look out at tens of thousands of written messages of gratitude or positivity? Thanks again for your reaction. Definitely recommend the alternate video of Crystal Snow where you get to see Jin's iconic triple high note. Thanks for helping me pass this time waiting for Jin.
