There was a time when Eminem was feeling like he might be a Rap God. Then he grew up and showed us what *true* power was. Bro went full-on Super Saiyan on the tracks. Every line's a double at the least, and he's letting some of his own heart out into those verses. The energy is infectious. Legend don't cut it no more; The man's a Myth. And talk about a glorious tribute to JUICE WRLD. Didn't even know who he was when this came out. Never gonna forget that name, 'cause of Em. That's a memorial.

You see, the thing about Eminem is (and the haters will deny this 😭): He was the best rapper back in the early 2000's, but he is ten times the lyricist now compared to what he was back then! I guess it's a combination of developing with time and the fact that his head got clearer over time after he became sober. Most of his popular music might be from back in the day, but I tell you this: 70% of his best music was made after the fact! And these days, he is absolutely next level and nobody are even close to his level! - If you want to hear what he has just put out recently (as in 2024): Fuel & Habits are two songs that shows his level, and Somebody Save Me & Temporary are two songs that will make you get tears 🥲 in your eyes! ✌

I agree with this. I grew up with Em from the first album and his talent ant lyricism is far beyond what it used to be. People miss his radio hits and more concentration on storytelling, but Kamikaze and TDOSS are no skips for me 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

You should 100% listen to more of his stuff, maybe Wishing Well is a good place to start. He did a 1 hour freestyle over Eminem beat that was absolutely cracked. Em mastered his flow pockets and breath control in his newer albums. This is actually my favourite version of him, cause he's technically untouchable. His tracks are filled with ridiculous entendres and homophones for the wordplay like never before. He learned a lot of patterns and delivers schemes of layers of bars where the 1st line connects with 16th.

The track “Speedom” (Tech9 feat Eminem) is the best “technical” showpiece for his fast rap. It doesn’t beat his record for SPS but the entire verse is fast (understatement) filled with some of the most advanced cadence / flow technicals to date by anyone. It’s def not as sonically pleasing but it’s purposely “chopped” because it’s a track w/ other “choppers” (ie choppy flows) an absolute must listen for anyone that can appreciate how skilled Marshall is at his craft.
