First you get the vocal line performing Dimple (if anyone doesn't have a crush on Jimin yet, that video will do it because girrll, body rolls be crazy!) and then OT7 doing Pied Piper.. Pied piper and dimple are usually watched together. I find myself forgetting to breath durning performance and at 73 not a good thing. I’ve watched it hundreds of times and it affects me the same each time. Makes this old girls heart just speed up. They are perfection 💜

Thanks for reacting to this great song. I love how they write songs about ARMY. They are very naughty drawing us in then telling us we shouldn't leave our studies and work for them yet they know we are hooked and they have taken us over. Yes, V's voice in this and his moves are particularly sensuous. They all smolder in this performance then them all doing body rolls in a line just knocks it out of the park. 'I'm sweet but I'm dangerous' is a great line and then to add, 'My hands are warm.' I can feel their hands in mine. I'm pleased to hear that you are totally hooked too. V and Jin singing to each other really sank you. Everyone is telling you to watch, 'Dimple'. It will slay you. The vocal line at their sexy best.

I can't remember if you've seen Dimple yet, but there is live footage of it from this same concert. The Vocal Line performs Dimple, then they go straight into the whole group performing Pied Piper. There is a fantastic video of the Dimple/Pied Piper double from this concert, which I would highly recommend you watching - seeing them back to back is something else. But.... Given your (entirety justified) reaction to Pied Piper, I'm not sure you would survive the experience.💜 Between Jin's voice, Jungkook's playfully seductive manner, Tae's gaze, and side glances, and Jimin's body rolls... 💜😍🥰 Let's be honest - who wished they could change places with JK's mike stand during that one part of Pied Piper. No one can say those guys don't know what they're doing. Even Hobi, in Pied Piper... What was with that? That kiss? 😍🤩 They tell us, in Pied Piper, not to spend all our time focusing on them. Pied Piper is one of BTS outstanding song to me because of its uniquely relaxing infectious groovy beat. Its jazzy vibe is akin to an upbeat version of V's Singularity which is slow and hypnotic, whereas this one is similarly hypnotic but smoother with added tease and sexiness.

Oh god, this song where BTS literally calls us out lol, but there’s actually a nice meaning hidden in the lyrics. The Pied Piper is a German Folktale about a man who had the power to lure things way with a magical pipe. He used them to lure away rats for a village, but they did not appreciate him or pay him and even treated him with hostility. Angered, the Pied Piper used the pipe once again, but instead lured away the children like he had with the rats. So now a Pied Piper is a metaphor for being attracted to something charismatic and charming by following the sound of a pipe. BTS uses this song to tell Army that they know we’re attracted to them and that they lure us in like the Pied Piper. They say “just follow the sound of the pipe, you know you can’t refuse me and even if I’m ruining you, forgive me but you know you can’t stop it.” However, BTS, despite knowing this, are also aware that we have lives to follow. Namjoon tells Army “your parents and boss hate me. You have photos and posters of me and you watch our videos, but please interpret the music video later and live your life. You won’t just lose an hour, a whole year will pass by before you know it. So I’m giving this song to you.” This song got me through online schooling. It was something I played to remind myself that I had things to do and that I shouldn’t procrastinate. I can always watch the new videos they post later, so in a way it helped me a lot. I’m glad you enjoyed it Luke! It’s one of armies personal favorites and one we like to gatekeep for a while before showing others. I think you really need to be an army for this song resonate with you. Also this whole concert is so iconic! It was for muster, so we were celebrating BTS’s birthday and in return, we got a concert where the performed all of army’s favorite songs 💜
