Something to note is that Naruto has the type of endings I call "random nonsense" where they take sometimes the liberty to put whatever they want in the ending. The second ending for example is showing a spin off manga where Naruto is put in a modern high school setting. In other endings they wear suits they never do in the show, use moves they never actually use, or play baseball which doesn't really exist in the series. The fourth one (I think) was showing fanart. *GREEN HEART* (I can't put emojis in comments idk why)

And because of how they are, they lend themselves to recreating them in amv or mad videos, because they stay in anything anime because of the random and generic (I'm not saying it as something bad though) they are good because they are so anime anime pure anime

19:21 The copyright for 2002 is when the original Naruto anime came out in Japan. The copyright for 2007 is when the Naruto Shippuden anime (the sequel) came out. Including filler, the original Naruto anime has 220 episodes, and Naruto Shippuden has 500 episodes, for a grand total of 720 episodes for the whole main series. It's a lot, but you don't necessarily need to watch all of the filler arcs or episodes since they're not really that important to the main story. I definitely recommend watching it at some point! 💚

I personally really enjoy watching the filler, especially for Naruto. I can understand, though, recommending not watching filler, since he will be recording all of the series and uploading it, which some viewers may not like. (However, I do not understand why people sometimes tell people to skip filler when they recommend the anime. I don't mean when they recommend it to content creators, but to friends. "You should watch this anime, but dont experience this or this because you wouldn't like it." I UNDERSTAND ITS NOT PART OF THE MAIN PLOT, I STILL WANT TO WATCH THE ANIME)

@@Pixeluchiha Well avoiding filler allows you to watch only what the writer wanted to tell not what the anime writers shoehorn in. its like reading Lord of the rings and someone tells you to read a fanfic after book 3, like why would you do that its not what the original author wanted to tell so its not genuine to the source material. I'm not saying filler can't be good but its disingenuous to the original work to say its required watching.

Naruto is a VERY emotional anime, a lot of the lines and quotes in the anime hit hard for me. It is also a very long anime, like one piece but not as long. Even so, I've binged watched it twice! That's just how good this anime is

They all are humans. 12:00 That ending is based on a Japanese tale, it has nothing to do with the series. Also, the song clearly has nothing to do with anything, it just sounds cool. 13:53 They're... all of that. Kinda. 14:10 * _Crying_ * 16:21 Pierrot was getting fun. One thing to keep in mind about anime endings is that there are many times where they'll change the artstyle or theme of the show just for the ending visuals. Like this show is about ninjas in a fantasy world, but an ending song can have them in modern real life school clothes and in a real life school when that doesn't exist in the Naruto world. Sometimes it'll have a symbolic meaning, but It's also just for fun visuals a lot of the time.

You are correct naruto is a series that grew up with me , when i was a kid naruto was a kid when i was a teenager shippuden came out and naruto was a teenager, naruto is now an adult and i am now an adult, this isnt the same for everyone but for some of us we literally grew up with naruto. and i think we have a unique experience watching it because of that.

What’s interesting about these endings is that they tell you a lot about what happened in the show but you get it only if you actually watch it. The relationship between Naruto (the blond one with the whiskers) and Sasuke (the one with mid long dark hair) is as deep as it is complicated. And like you said : they are best friends, arch enemies, brothers of heart, rivals, all of that at the same time. 💚

"For you" makes me tear up. When you see how the kids are paired up, master and mentor, its so cute and heartbreaking given the pain that comes with them. You can do it is my favorite. You are absolutely right about this anime exploring character growth over and extended period of time, and which is why I believe it is so beloved. You truly get to feel like you’re growing up with these characters, and Naruto hands down has some of the best written characters and strongest emotional beats out of any anime anywhere. It also inspired many modern Shonen animes that came after it like MHA and Demon Slayer (just as DBZ and HxH inspired Naruto); so I 100% feel this anime would be worth your time. Ah Shippuuden! I remember when I first heard the 1st OP and ED to it and how excited I was when I found out there's gonna be a time skip. I love ED 2 and the video for it is a high school au which was interesting! ED 4's arts were made by different artists and it's awesome to see them (the lines on Naruto's face are supposed to make it look like he has whiskers as he was supposed to be a fox demon but the author changed it). Anyways, like with the OPs, you can't entirely trust the visuals of the ED to tell you what's in the show. Some of them have nothing to do with the current storyline or they're just symbolism. Like ED 2 might be a highschool au but the storyline of it sort of mirror the canon story. ED 10 is the characters having fun at the beach but that doesn't happen in the show. (I also don't see any react video to Naruto EDs. Those are pretty good, too! Check them out if you can)

It would be a huge spoiler if I explained how and why he has them so I wont write anything else. 19:10 Naruto Shippuden ran from 2007 to 2017 and there are 40 endings because 1 opening usually has 2 endings paired with it. For example by the time the anime switched from opening 1 to opening 2 the ending was switching from ending 2 to ending 3. Naruto has 220 episodes, Naruto Shippuden has 500 episdoes and Boruto currently has 286 episodes and it's still ongoing. The Boruto endings are really good too so you should check those out too. 41:07 This one is my favorite ending. Once you know more about the story look for a version that has english subs on it. It made me cry the first time I heard it. I hope you post part 2 fast because the second half of the endings are even better than what you heard in the first half.

SPOILER DON'T READ IT IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE ANIME: His parents don't get explained in episode 1 and it's impossible to explain his whiskers without explaining his parents. Naruto has whiskers because he is the child of the 9 tails Jinchuriki and that doesn't get revealed until halfway through Shippuden. During pregnancy some of Kurama's chakra came in contact with Naruto and that gave him whiskers. This is also why Boruto and Hima have whiskers too.

I really hope you decide to watch Naruto and Naruto Shippuden with us someday, it's easily one of my all time favorite anime. It's really a journey... it takes some times but it leads you somewhere... It might start a bit slowly but as the story goes on you can't help but fall in love with it : great stories, great character, great music... And it's a classic ! Just be carefull not to get spoiled, even very innocent looking comments can spoil this anime and it REALLY would be such a shame to get spoiled as some of the plot twist are the BEST ! I personally don't usually cry watching anime, or if I do it's just the first time watching then if I rewatch it's easier, naruto is one of the only exception : recently I rewatched it with like ten different reactors and I cried at the exact same scenes every single times, that's how emotional this show get me ! You just slowly get really invested with everything and... I mean I can't really explain it you have to watch it to understand it, but Naruto is a masterpiece and Naruto SHippuden gets even better soooo... If one day you watch it I will be so happy as you are really one of my absolute favorite reactors !

the first ending reminds me so much of 5ve Also without spoiling anything... Naruto starts off as i believe 12 years old boy and goes on to grow up to his 30s. Many of us grew up with him and were same age as him when the series started so the nostalgia is huge with the series. It is one that you will enjoy and i highly recommend it. Without the filler episodes its probably around 300-500 episodes for both series. Theres several movies most of which can be considered fillers but some are worth watching 💚

a part of the first ending, Shooting Star (Nagareboshi) : sora wo miagereba, hoshitachi ga hora matataiteru kono hoshi no hitotachi mitai ni, samazama na hikari wo hanatte sono naka de boku mo hitoki wa kagayaiteitanda me wo tojite kokoro ni chikau, nagareboshi ni yume wo takushite! "When I look up to the sky, I see the stars twinkling, Just like the people on this planet, radiating each of their own brilliance. I too want to shine with my own light alongside those people, I closed my eyes with a vow within my heart, I entrust my dream to the shooting star." It truly encompassed Naruto's goal throughout the "Naruto" series (and into most part of the Shippuuden part), Naruto is a kid who were basically outcast due to his origin, but he too wants to be acknowledge as part of the village, to show them that he too is part of them. To be accepted for who he is and respected for what he can/have achieved. and really, Naruto can be summed up by his own words : "I will never give up until I becomes Hokage! So you should give up trying to make me give up!".

Man, Naruto is an AMAZING anime. The music that comes with it is top notch, and the story is so good, SO GOOD. Its to the point to where people don't like some mainstream anime because it is a "Naruto knockoff" (I still enjoy those anime anyway, but the point is that Naruto paved the way for a whole genre of anime). You were wondering how long the anime is. It. Is. LONG. The first anime "Naruto" had 220 episodes. "Naruto Shippuden" has a whopping 500 episodes! Boruto is currently like a continuation of Naruto (it is called Boruto: Naruto Next Generation), and it is on Episode 287, and from what it looks like, it doesn't seem to be too close to ending yet. If you want my opinion about watching this on KZbin, it should be done in order. I am of the opinion that Naruto Shippuden should be watched immediately after Naruto, but it will probably be fine to watch a few other series first, since the first series would be so long, and the upcoming one would be even longer. After finishing Naruto Shippuden, it is fine to wait to watch Boruto. Many people don't enjoy it because it doesn't feel the same to them, but I enjoy it as an anime and think it is being done well. In the end though, it will be up to the community when each of these series will be watched, so I suppose this portion of this comment is directed to them. 💚

this will be a long comment, but i want to help you understand how anime works a bit more, so you can understand how crazy this medium really is: a lot of anime (not all, but a lot) are adapted from manga (japanese comic books). oftentimes these manga (or at least a lot of the popular ones) are written by one singular person, who is coming up with the story, drawing the panels, writing the dialogue etc. (they do have editors/assistants to help but the creator is usually the main force behind it) these series are then usually serialized weekly or monthly in a magazine, and when a certain number of chapters are produced, they are compiled into a volume you can go out and buy so you don't have to buy a magazine week to week/month to month. from there, a studio of people might get the rights to the story and animate it and make it a TV show. i think it's really awesome to think about when watching a show, just how crazy the process really is. everything you're seeing when watching an anime was originally written and drawn by one person primarily, week to week (or month to month depending on the magazine) for years. i think that really shows the dedication of manga authors. the original first part of naruto was serialized from 1999 to around 2004 or so. then shippuden was serialized until 2014. this story and hundreds of others were all made slowly, chapter by chapter, piece by piece, for years and years until their completion. crazy right? also, as a side note, sometimes anime, especially older ones, add extra episodes that aren't part of the original story (called filler). filler doesn't contribute to the story since it's not part of the original series and was added on for the anime, so it's kind of a waste of time. this is done for various reasons, but long story short, if you watch naruto, i highly recommend you look up a filler guide so you know which episodes are filler, so you can skip them.

Ending 14, transient fireworks, has a special place in my heart. The song Accurately shows my feelings towards something that happened in my life. "It'd be so much easier if I could hate you" That hits me hard. it tears your heart When you know you have to forget about someone. You think it'd be better off for you to hate them because then it'd be easier for you to stop thinking about them, but the thing is you cant do it because at the same time you love that person. The marks on his face are actually spoilers for a huge part of what makes Naruto Naruto. Explaining them will spoil a major plot point for the first mini story arc. EDIT: I literally said "HALCALI baby" out loud at 14:20. EDIT 2: That Halcali song is the ending for a rather dark arc, so the following arc's ED was deliberately more light hearted. EDIT 3: I really should just wait until the video is ended... I can explain that "odd shot" at 25:21. She's channeling healing chakra (energy used for everything ninja do) into the patient's hara, the center of his own chakra circulatory system. The hara is located "behind" the bellybutton, and by channeling new chakra into his system, the energy will circulate through his body and accelerate his recovery. Yes, I'm a Naruto nerd.

Naruto is hands down mine, and a lot of other people's, favourite anime. I clicked on this video so fast. I can't wait for you to watch it one day, And yes, it is one of the longer-running anime and so we got to grow up alongside Naruto. It is AMAZING. Naruto having whiskers is technically not explained in the lore as far as I know. I believe it's a design choice from the creator and it's not actually whiskers. It's more a representation of whiskers since Naruto is connected to a certain animal. Won't say more, since that spoils c: Also Ending 12 has been my wake up song since 2016, I just love waking up to it!💚

SPOILER DON'T READ IT IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE ANIME: Naruto definitely has whiskers. The lines on his face change to be more like whiskers every time he is using Kurama's power. Naruto has whiskers because he is the child of the 9 tails Jinchuriki. During pregnancy some of Kurama's chakra came in contact with Naruto and that gave him whiskers. This is also why Boruto and Hima have whiskers too. Also yes I know that Mito's (Hashirama's wife) kids and grandkids didn't have whiskers but that might be because they used a different seal for Kurama back then and that type of seal didn't let any chakra to leak even during pregnancy.

There are two main models for long running anime to follow, since they run on a delay after an ongoing manga (comic book). One model is to make seasonal bursts of say twenty episodes and then wait a season so the manga can get ahead again. Examples include My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan. The second model is to stretch out the content with filler seasons, flash backs and extended content to give the manga time to keep going before the anime catches up to it. Examples of this are Naruto, One Piece and Dragon Ball Z. This means that there's always a new episode next week so you don't have to wait months or years between arks. However, it means there's a ton of bad passing and skippable episodes. So if you react to this show, which would be awesome, then follow one of the many filler guides online that tell you witch episodes to skip. Or watch the very well done fan edit of the whole show that fiks the fillers and passing issues. However, those of course won't be available on a legitimate streaming service.
