Dude, the kid stealing a toy reminded me of the time one of my mother's abusive ex'es learned I stole a Tek Dek from his brother's kids, so the next time we went up there he told me that him and his brother wanted to talk to me (Waiting for my mother to not be around by the way) and brought me into the garage where his brother was waiting with a table saw which he turned on as I entered the room, and started screaming "YOU THINK YOU'RE GONNA STEAL FROM MY HOUSE!?" while my mother's ex dragged my by my arm to the table and only let my arm go when I was about 2 feet from the table.

Like their disciplinary choices are abhorrent anyway and the general population would automatically think this and I'm sure even the perpetrators would otherwise agree and yet it doesn't occur to them that they shouldn't film it.
