We finally get to see Nygma in Arkham. Despite the welcoming residents, it doesn't look like he'll be there for very long.....

I like that Ed is trying to solve conflicts in Arkham between the inmates

I think Ed just try to be helpful but no one ever appreciates him. In the Asylum they actually need him because no one really watches the inmates and the doctors don't seem to care if they hurt each other or not. He tried to help Gordon said he was going to write to the boss He tried to help Kristen or else he wouldn't have defended her He tried to help Penguin and nursed him back to health(Even though Penguin wouldn't listen when he said "You need rest) and passed out multiple times trying to run off during that episode He trys to awkwardly cheer up "Mr.Penguin" 3 different times even though Penguin is Antisocial and so rejects Ed, and Ed is so painfully awkward nothing he is doing is really making much of a difference Ed is a helpful person that wants to help others. He is a little off himself but think he wants to try and be a good person despite it. He also seems to understand what he tells them "Everyone has a story and they just want to be listened to" Since he would know, no one listens to him.

I watched in an interview that when asked if he took inspiration in Frank Gorshin's interpretation of the character he said no he stayed away from other portrayals because he wanted to make it his own which I completely understand. Although, oddly enough I saw a tiny tiny bit of Jim somehow in this clip. But, I know he made it his own. 😊❤👌👑
